I am so happy that we got our hostages back, however, I hope our government does not get lax with Iran. They are not trustworthy. Our American sailors should never have had guns aimed at them and apologizing and promoting propaganda, uncalled for, and we are giving them deal. Welcome home Americans.

The price of these was at least $100 billion, plus an agreement that probably WILL result in Iran having nukes, the lies of the administration notwithstanding.

As we all know, prices never come down, and now there's a precedent that we never wanted to be set.

Restore their economy and thus a more pleasant way of life, perhaps providing less reason for radicalization of the elements that would lean that way. People who have nothing and nothing to lose are much more likely to join groups that seemingly represent overthrow of those that are repressing them.

Sanctions were necessary at the time, but the money was never OURS.

Why shouldn't they make interest on their money? I would assume we invested it, or it gained interest---we didn't just bury on the White House lawn, did we?

Also Sunday, Secretary of State John Kerry said in a statement that the U.S. and Iran had settled a dispute over $400 million in Iranian money dating back to before the 1979 Islamic Revolution and end of diplomatic ties. The Iranians also get $1.3 billion in interest. At issue was money used by Iran to buy military equipment from the U.S. before the break in ties between the countries.

enemies penalites and interest doesn't work for every American who paid into social security, only to have Congress steal from that fund over the years. If this country can pay penalties and interest to our enemies, it certainly can repay-with interest and penalties the social security fund.

I can hardly believe my granddaughter will be turning five next month. My daughter asked me what foods would be a good idea. Tonight I just finished watching "My Life As a Turkey" on Public Broadcasting. Anyone who loves animals and nature would love this. It is about a man who found and incubated wild turkey eggs, raised them and lived with them in the forrest for 1 1/2 years. Real people and some animation. The Disney movie company just keeps churning out wonderful movies. I went to the show because I love bling of any kind, loved the color of Cate Blanchett's hair (really gold) and was totally amazed by the movie and loved it.
