Fox News Makes News (and cuts the interview!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/26/fox-news-interview-guest-network-wing-republican-party_n_2192506.html

This is a link to an actual Fox News clip of an interview that they cut off after 90 seconds.  Now there is that good ol' freedom of speech.

;

"I think that Benghazi generally was hyped, by this network - particularly." Thanks. A rare 90 seconds. :)

"how many contractors died in Iraq" - "I don't know."

[ In Reply To ..]
Exactly!

None of those so distressed here over our 4 ever cared - about those in other countries. Same thing.

[ In Reply To ..]
They weren't told to get excited about other incidents, so they didn't.

..."emphasis on Benghazi has been extremely political, partly because...Fox - operating as the wing of the Republican Party

[ In Reply To ..]
Of course, we know that, but it was still fun seeing Jon Scott wrap the interview with the Pulitzer prize-winning military journalist up fast-fast as it went critical. :)

It is a political story! duh! The liberal media should - have been unbiased instead of covering up! nm

but they didn't cover anything up - bootstraps

[ In Reply To ..]
Can you give me a mainstream documentation that they did?

All I'm finding is what I posted below that information was according to CIA info and what they wanted to be made public for national security reasons.

I think Fox got caught with their biased pants down. They are pretty much a laughing stock everywhere.

My husband came and got me to watch this. - grits

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall in the control room; the flailing must have been nothing short of hilarious.

Yeah, just like Obama and the liberals cover up - Benghazi... very funny.. NOT !! nm

nm

Do you know how many contractors died in Iraq? - grits

[ In Reply To ..]
Why not?
No! AND IT HAS NOTHING TO TO WITH OBAMA LYING - ABOUT BENGHAZI ..Blaming Bush again? give it up.n

Obama did not lie about Benghazi - bootstraps
[ In Reply To ..]
There's this thing called national security where all facts aren't made public immediately.

And I will blame Bush every chance I get. Beg as you will, but don't expect me to give that up ever.

There was no cover up. - bootstraps

[ In Reply To ..]
Rice's statements were in line with CIA briefings, aka what she was supposed to say.

Even though the CIA knew or suspected something different (implicating or naming anyone) was not something they wanted to be made public for national security reasons.

This is common knowledge at this point. Of course, you or anyone else can choose not to believe it, but even the Republican leadership is realizing this is the case, and if Rice is nominated, they are backing down regarding blocking the nomination.

It's easily searched, so I won't post a link.
*hands bootstraps a virtual pillow* - grits

I'll take it and the real one too ;-) - bootstraps
[ In Reply To ..]
I guess I should read that prayer about not being able to change things I can't, before posting here, but... then I'd never post!!

There are infinite credible mainstream sources of info on the Internet and newspapers.

I hate it when something I want to be true isn't, so I disappear into a B&W and ignore the news, eventually get a grip on reality and return to the real world.

Denial doesn't work. But I love the idea of a virtual pillow!! ty :-)

Kinda like 60 MInutes - cutting Obama

[ In Reply To ..]
right before the election saying that he wasn't sure if Benghazi was a terrorist attack. They all do it - get over it.

There is no comparison between - protecting the interests

[ In Reply To ..]
of national security in the midst of multiple investigations involving classified information versus the "interests" of a hopelessly biased cable news network bent on politicizing and scandalizing the embassy attack. If Fox had ANY integrity in this matter, they would have used the same "discretion" they used when cutting the Ricks interview short to minimize his damaging statements about their reporting and their role as extremist mouthpiece when reporting on the Benghazi investigations. They didn't. Speaks volumes about their motivations and intent. I see nothing inconsistent in the reporting 60 Minutes did prior to and following the election. Their update on the interview with President Obama was released in response to Fox's unrelenting Benghazi lynch mob mentality. Elucidation of their commentator's "but" question did not add anything of significance to his original statement, except among those determined to make up news as they go along to advance their destructive partisan agendas.

In no way do I expect the flocks to withdraw from their Benghazi orgy. As such, they will continue to emphasize just how far out of the mainstream loop they are and have been all along on this issue, as is the case on so many others as they relate to the 2012 election candidates and voters. The further they dig their heels in, the deeper their hole gets.

Finally, a Fox video I can enjoy! - RC

The Bad News On JobsMay 17, 2011
Don't let the biggest monthly jobs gain in five years fool you. Dark clouds on the horizon are getting harder to ignore.  Economists at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have certainly noticed.
