are no better. Get real. Many have dropped out and given up looking for a job. Everything is unstable, including the stock market, of course. We desperately need new leadership.

that all of us whose lives hung in the balance last December have not forgotten the GOP Bush tax cut extension extortion scheme when they took the extension of unemployment benefits hostage and Obama was forced to concede on behalf of the 14 million and their families. Nor have we fogotten the GOP ADHD from the previous year that would not permit UI extensions longer than 3 months at a time, nor the spectacle Kyl made of himself behind the issue, the fits he threw when he was forced to miss his baseball game because they would always wait until the last minute to vote on the extensions. There was never a moment when we weren't stressing over the next stunts the GOP would pull, all their witchin' and moanin', all the while coddling big business and oil, banks, wall street and the super-rich. We did not sleep through all of that and in fact spent most of our days sending resumes down dead-end streets and our nights biting our fingernails down to the quick after watching the evening news throw the everything-but-jobs agendas coming out of Congress back in our faces, ESPECIALLY since last January.

One person does not govern this nation. The leadership vacuum is not in the White House. The president cannot force Congress to make laws, particularly in this current political climate where we have so-called leadership setting their number-one priority as making Obama a one-term president and declaring that the economy is "a hostage worth ransoming." The blame is squarely on the destructive/obstructive forces in Congress from the previous session along with this new infusion of economically challenged rookie idealogues whose exprssed mission is to destroy government.

The millions of unemployed in this country know VERY WELL who is on their side and who is not, because we have been watching them like a hawk day in and day out. It is Congress who gets their no confidence vote, which they have earned a hundred times over.

Companies are AFRAID of this administration. - Sitting on money and not hiring.

Markets are going to go up and down. You cannot give Obama credit for market going up and the next day when it goes down blame Bush. Doesn't work that way. The market goes up and down because of speculation. It's being manipulated every day. Nobody can predict one way or the other.

Don't give credit to The O every time it goes up and blame Bush every time it goes down.

Maybe follow what is going on in DC. The decisions being made and voted on have a lot to do with it.

I think we need to get rid of the stock market. It's - all based on greed & dishonesty.
