Go Team Trump!
It makes sense to me since these special - elections were due to

having to fill positions from Trump filling his administration positions. Republicans filling in republican positions. Just wait until 2018 after the full effect of republican leadership takes hold. Bet it will be different.
I listen to a lot of stories where supporters are still giving he and the pubs a chance but they are throwing comments in there that they want him to get off twitter and actually see him do things so we'll see what happens after the newness wears off and they get to see what the pubs are all about.
I wish he would get off twitter, too, but - OP

I understand more and more why he remains on it.
Also, this article explains a lot about his strategy.

These special elections show Trump has support - Things won't change in 2018
[ In Reply To ..]
Demoncrats don't have a plan or a leader. All they have is Russia, Russia, Russia.
As I said, wait until the newness wears off - He does still have support
[ In Reply To ..]
and I never said he didn't.
What the Trump supporters don't understand is we have much more than Russia. We have the fact that the pubs are busy gutting the policies that protect the environment, give tax breaks to the top 1%, removed things that protected us from Wall Street, the fact that Trump can't focus on his job or make up his mind on anything. A big thing will be what they do with the healthcare. I am an American first and middle class and I hope they come up with something good, but experience with republican policies tells me it won't be and we will suffer. Their budget promises to cut social programs that will leave many out in the cold, and that includes Trump supporters.
Most of us don't focus on Russia. We know there is an investigation going on and will await the outcome. We are focusing on the things that are going on behind the spotlight of the Russian investigation.
The "newness" has been nothing but Trump bash - and Russia. Ugly plan Demoncrats
[ In Reply To ..]
And I don't think you all will ever get it.
BASHING TRUMP DOES NOT WIN DEMONCRATS ELECTIONS.
You all need a charismatic leader (NOT HILLARY) and a plan of action. The only plan so far is to bash Trump and you all still lost the special elections ESPECIALLY the Georgia election when millions of dollars poured in to support the Demoncrat candidate.
I do agree that Trump bashing will not - win democratic elections
[ In Reply To ..]
I also agree we need somebody besides Hillary.
Where I do think we will have an advantage come 2018 and 2020 is watching the destruction the republicans are causing with their pro top 1% and gut the environment policies.
It sounds like you've been giving President Trump a chance? - anon

And hope Republicans do some good?
If so, that's what fairness is all about. If Republicans fail, the blame is on them. If they succeed, all the better to them. Likewise to Democrats should they gain control in 2018. That's what it means to do what's right for American citizens - all citizens. Seems to me ordinary middle-class citizens have more sense than politicians.
I don't think we really have a choice - but to give him a chance
[ In Reply To ..]
I don't like what I am seeing and don't like him but we really have no choice but to hope he does some good.
I am pro-environment, pro-choice, pro-second amendment (to a degree, no use for assault weapons) and pro-national healthcare. Basically I'm in the middle. But in this day it seems it has to be right or left so I think nobody wins except the fat cats in Washington and Wall Street, including Trump.
I hope that answers your questions.
Funny how some people don't was to stop the unruly spending policies - Truthhurts

that added $10 TRILLION to the budget through expansion of programs. In reality, those so-called cuts are just taking the programs back to the day before Obama threw so many people under the bus with his healthcare policies.
I'm not being nasty or hateful when I say that some people getting Medicaid, Food Stamps, SSDI wouldn't be eligible in earlier administrations. The expansion of Medicaid (which was already in jeopardy) was due to Obamacare. Taking $800 billion from Medicare (which also is in jeopardy) wasn't doing anyone a favor, either.
Funny how those who signed up for Obamacare got Medicaid, but I was left with $175K hospital bill and was denied FOUR times. For 5 years, I fought the hospital and Medicaid. Not good in the stressful environment when my treatments weren't completed yet. Can you imagine how much more it would have been if I hadn't refused PT? My radiation treatments were expensive, too and having to see 4 doctors every week for 2 months wasn't exactly free either. i was told to cash in my life insurance policies! Can you imagine that? Because I had $4,000 in assets over the limit.
I now see people are being taken seriously when they report fraud and abuse. It's about time! There have been 6 cases taken to court in one month this year. I hope to see more.
I'll give you my views on some of your post. - Before the ACA
[ In Reply To ..]
I was one of those that couldn't get insurance because I had a preexisting condition (diabetes). I could not afford nor could I get a private insurance policy. There was not a waiting period, they just wouldn't give me insurance. They said I made too much money to get Medicaid, I made a whopping one thousand dollars a month.
I also agree there are many on Medicaid or Welfare who shouldn't be. I am also glad people are reporting fraud. I would like to see more money used to get rid of more of the ones committing fraud. I think many are milking the system and I don't like it either but I don't blame the ACA for that.
That did not give people insurance who were on welfare, that gave people the ability to get insurance who do work but had either preexisting conditions and couldn't get insurance or just help with paying for ridiculous prices of insurance for low wage earners.
I really am sad about your situation. I really don't know your situation. Do you live in a state where the expansion was refused? Did you make too much money to get the credit?
I had no assets except a beat-up old car and rented an apartment and supported my child while working 2 and 3 jobs and couldn't get help. If you had assets to get rid of, consider yourself lucky. There are a lot of people out there who have nothing and still couldn't get help.
Do you think the republican plan will be any better? Since you have a preexisting condition do you think you will be able to afford insurance since states can charge an arm and a leg for them? Do you think giving the wealthy tax breaks while cutting programs that help the poor will be better for you?
I'm also not trying to be nasty, would just like your opinion on that.
I'm SO GLAD I was born in a generation that still values - self reliance and independence rather than
[ In Reply To ..]
socialism and government dependence, that pretty makes up the Democrat party.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how - much better we will be,

including you, when all those wealthy get breaks and we get the shaft.

Interesting Overview Of The NY Special Election By A Republican StrategistNov 02, 2009Bradley A. The district 23 seat in upstate New York has been a safe Republican seat for over a 100 years. I (heart) South Carolina!Aug 12, 2010Great beaches and great peaches! Just thinking today, how fortunate I am to live just one state *north* of SC (as I sliced and diced my way through a $6 half bushel of perfectly ripe and juicy peaches, shipped just up the road). My account is a hospital where I get reports about "blueberry workers," which I had never heard of. We have to pay some serious money for blueberries down here, but I imagine "up there" they are plentiful and cheap. The cheapest I have seen here recen ...
South Carolina Will Become First State To Jan 24, 2014
My state has spent over $300 million of state taxes and only 44 have signed up for AHC. It is not working in our state. We sure could have used $300 million to help the homeless or redo our severely crippled bridges, but noooooo, we had to spend it on ridiculous useless crap to get 44 people signed up and those people's deductibles are so high that they are still paying out of pocket for their care. ...

Who Is Going To Win Special Election In Georgia Jun 20, 2017Georgia’s Special Election Comes to a Nail-Biting Finish

ATLANTA — Tuesday’s runoff between Karen Handel and Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District will decide what has become the most expensive House campaign in history — and quite possibly the most consequential special election since Watergate.
