High around 80 degrees, low humidity and a bit of a breeze! It doesn't get much better than that! Especially nice considering that Monday through Wednesday, we had 90 plus degrees with high humidity.

Here in Knoxville it hit 95! Now that to me is so hot and it's not just because I'm 8 months pregnant! I have been sitting in front of a fan with the AC blasting and still feel horrible. Many more weeks of 90+ to go!

I lived in western Washington for a few years and I am just happy to be somewhere that really has a summer! Will probably head out to the beach today and enjoy some more hot and sun!

It's almost 2:00 am as I write this and it's 40 degrees out! It was 58 in the house when I got up for work tonight...brrr! I'm wearing sweats and a quilted flannel shirt on IN THE HOUSE! At least this cold stuff slows the bugs down a tad. The tourists must not be too happy with this stuff though! I'd sure hate to be out camping in this cold raw weather!

After living in SW Florida for some time, I have decided to visit South Beach Miami on my own. Cannot work out schedule with any friends. It will be a day trip for me - about 2-hour drive each way. Great beaches and great peaches! My state has spent over $300 million of state taxes and only 44 have signed up for AHC. It is not working in our state. We sure could have used $300 million to help the homeless or redo our severely crippled bridges, but noooooo, we had to spend it on ridiculous useless crap to get 44 people signed up and those people's deductibles are so high that they are still paying out of pocket for their care. ...

I live in the south. How does Thanksgiving dinner differ from the northern states to the sourthern ones? From east to west? Here in the south we have the usual turkey like everyone does.
