Russia, and the vote was 98-2. I think the two people who voted against it were Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders. Does anyone know the details of this?;

If you heard it, you must know where you heard - it so maybe post a link

For more sanctions - and to keep

[ In Reply To ..]
Trump from easing sanctions without congress approval - this is Fox to make sure everyone is happy

This is retarded. Russia helped us fight the Obama created - ISIS. To punish Moscow for interfering

[ In Reply To ..]
in the 2016 election?

When did that become a fact?

Another Fox News - link that

[ In Reply To ..]
shows that without a doubt Russia interfered - No one said it changed the outcome, but they did try to hack and interfere. They are not our friends and Obama did not create ISIS! If anyone did, it was Bush by going into the Middle East in the first place -

We already knew that. What they tried to do is cause chaos. - They tried to make it look like people

[ In Reply To ..]
were not registered to vote and things like that. Thank goodness we don't have a national voting system. They couldn't hack into small towns and cities.

So why this continued investigation?
My opinion is after - Manafort and Flynn
[ In Reply To ..]
they had to clear up any hint of similar issues with Trump or any others in his team. Also I think that dumb dossier that leaked made some people think Putin had the goods on Trump. I think it is better they investigate and get it all cleared up so no one wonders anymore. He should just let them do their jobs and quit snarking at them on Twitter, but that's not him!
Comey acted on that dossier that he knew to be fake. - He basically turned "bad intelligence"
[ In Reply To ..]
into a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Has this been signed or vetoed? This is stupid. - NM

Maybe it is, but - the republican

[ In Reply To ..]
run Senate did it - so maybe they know something we don't. This is not just about Trump though. It would be in place for all future presidents as well.
No, this is just swamp politics. Many of them hate Trump - as much as the media and the left.

Good thing the Republicans in Congress - are wising up. Russia is bad news.

[ In Reply To ..]
They hacked our system and if you believe Putin that they did it because they were "patriotic" - then:
1. First of all, them being patriotic for Russia means screwing with our elections? That sounds like an enemy to me, not a friend. They're not confused, Trump is. You don't hack an ally, you hack someone you want to subjugate.
2. Secondly, have you seen Russia? Those hackers are not doing this for nothing, not for patriotism. Someone is paying them and since it seems like it is govt sanctioned, my guess is the govt. I have heard that the only good jobs in Russia are the govt jobs, and there are plenty of them.

This "let's be friends" garbage Trump is pushing is dangerous has to make one wonder why he feels so warm towards them.

Russia is our enemy and they have already taken over Ukraine, they could easily do that to some other countries out there. When/if that happens, we do NOT want to be indebted to them, we want to be clear where we stand, otherwise we will be complicit in their empire-building.

Russia is helping us fight ISIS. Be careful what you wish - for, it might come true.

[ In Reply To ..]

They are also "helping" - Assad in Syria

[ In Reply To ..]
You okay with that?

Be careful what YOU wish for.

The Russians are NOT our friends. Anything they do is not to "help" anyone but themselves.

I am guessing you Trumpies all have a soft spot for the Russians because they also "helped" give you your true desire, Trump as President. The rest of us not so much.
So did Obama and Hillary. Hillary sold uranium to Russia. - Obama armed Iran with nukes.
[ In Reply To ..]
Are you okay with that?

"Trumpies" as you call us, trying to put us down, have no soft spot other than for our country but we know how the world REALLY works.

When he started in with the bellering that they do, everyone else in the room was trying to keep straight faces. We just sat there and, as he went on and on and on, we just looked at each other. Then of course we all avoided him, but we didn't 'engage' him in conversation.  After his tirade, he just sat there with a mad look on his face until it was time to leave. It's great to have this as a place where we don't have to keep a straight face. Love it! ...

Budget To Be Passed (hopefully) Apr 21, 2010
By Walter Alarkon - 04/20/10 08:50 AM ET Senate Democrats have written their budget resolution so they can pass jobs legislation using reconciliation, the controversial process used last month to move healthcare reform. The resolution does not specify what specific jobs measures could be covered, and does not explicitly allow for the use of reconciliation rules to pass energy legislation or the extension of George W. Bush-era tax cuts set to expire at the end of the ...

for their welfare recipients.  What in the world do they think they are going to do with $25 at a time.  Gave an example of a woman, I think she had one child, she gets $800.  One would suppose perhaps to pay rent and utilities.  What world do they live in that $25 is going to cover anything.  It doesn't even cover a good run to the grocery store.  But, we know that all welfare recipients have cars and they can just drop by the store back and forth to work, and ...

What Are Your Thoughts On This Bill Being PassedDec 15, 2011
could now be in even greater jeopardy of being arrested and imprisoned indefinitely, with no right to a trial?  Pretty scary.  And note, this is neither a Repub or a Dem issue, this is an issue that goes against the Constitution.  Apparently at the last minute, it's being realized that language was taken out of the original bill, clarifying that US Citizens could not just be swept off the streets and imprisoned without due justice and a trial.  Now the ABSENCE of that pa ...

If This Is The Wisconsin Bill They Passed, What's Wrong With It?Mar 10, 2011
I spent the last few hours reading it (I really hate legalese-LOL) then did a search on collective bargaining. I did see where they wanted to tie raises to the CPI but can't find it now. Anyway, the pages that I found CB in the search are: Pgs. 955-964, 998, 1045, 1061, 1312, 1332-1334. So, tell me where they are stripping collecitve bargaining from the unions. Fair question.    http://legis.wisconsin.gov/2011/data/AB-40.pdf ...

Tax Cuts Passed 277-148 And Reid/OmnibusDec 17, 2010
They worked late into the night to pass it. It will cost $858 billion but it gives everyone a "breather" for a while. Reid pulled the Omnibus bill off the table; i.e., just died. John McCain, Tom Coburn, and Jim DeMint were the reason because they wanted the bill read page per page. Guess Reid didn't want the people to know what was really in the bill.  I had forgotten some of the crap in there but thankfully, the John Murtha Foundation (biggest crook in PA) will not be funded, n ...

The House Passed The Spending BillMar 06, 2013
Republicans passed it. Democrats were against it because it still included the $85 billion sequester dollars.  "The Senate isn't going to accept this bill," Senate Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said during debate.  Despite Democratic complaints, the House passed the bill easily in a 267-151 vote in which 53 Democrats supported it, likely because it will help avoid a government shutdown. Just 14 Republicans voted against it. Dems wanted Sequester, now they don't! ...

Civil Rights Bills Passed ForAug 21, 2017
Food for thought: “I maintain that every civil rights bill in this country was passed for white people, not for black people. For example, I am black. I know that. I also know that while I am black I am a human being. Therefore I have the right to go into any public place. White people don’t know that. Every time I tried to go into a public place they stopped me. So some boys had to write a bill to tell that white man, “He’s a human being; don’t stop him." That bill was for the whit ...

From NJ.com: " Jumping out ahead of Washington, New York state enacted the nation's toughest gun restrictions today and the first since the Connecticut school massacre, including an expanded assault-weapon ban and background checks for buying ammunition. Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the measure into law less than an hour after it won final passage in the Legislature, with supporters hailing it as a model for the nation and gun-rights activists condemning it as a knee-jerk piec ...
