They voted on the Baucus amendment and the Schumer amendment and both failed to pass. I find some of the comments very interesting from both sides. I will not give my comments on either side's remarks although I saw some really hateful speeches. I decided to look for any news reports on this but it doesn't tell the whole story. The anti-monopoly laws in the US are weak. Large corporations are multi-conglomerates. Put the two together and you have companies that are "too big to fail" without taking too many people (as in jobs, personal savings, and such) down with them.
