Mama Grizzly leads battle cry for

Posted: Jul 8, 2010

to pluck the nation from the ashes of ruin!  Lets all cross our fingers and pray for a Palin/Steele or a Steele/Palin dream team ticket, shall we? It just does not get more pathetic than this.

You wanna hear about something pathetic? - sm

People who let Obama get away with everything merely because he is a democrat and/or a black man. Obama's outrageous spending is okay because Bush started it. The unemployment rate is higher than ever but Obama isn't to blame because Bush started it. All the so-called jobs Obama created were not full-time sustainable jobs. The majority of them were construction jobs that would be done when the job was finished. I also heard today that millions of dollars was given in the stimulus for bananas....now tell me how many jobs that created. Absolutely none but it spent millions of dollars for no reason. But hey....that's gotta be Bush's fault too, right? Ya'll complain about Bush's response to Katrina and yet you have nothing to say about Obama's response to the BP oil spill. Obama swears he will not stop until it is solved...yet he goes golfing. The double standards by ya'll is just insane. At least some of us can see the faults on both sides and we don't ride the party line....or go merely by race like some people do.

When Obama continues to spend money, more jobs are lost, we can't afford gas, no country will loan us any more money and we are bankrupt and Obama is out golfing....you still gonna blame Bush.

Debt wise...Bush was bad....Obama is worse....GET IT!!!!

Just for the record, I like Sarah Palin but I don't want her to run for president in 2012.

Even the fact that Ws defenders - sm

still cannot own up to his colossal failures is not nearly as pathetic as mama grizzly and her herd of pink elephants. Just for the record, this is not about W or O. Could you please comment on Palins latest idiotic display?

Did you even read my post? - sm

I admitted Bush made some huge mistakes. I also see that Obama is making some huge mistakes. So how did I not admit to Bush having failures?

As for Palin...I did say that I liked Palin but do not want her to run in 2012. I don't see what Palin is doing is wrong or ignorant. A lot of people see her as someone they can relate to. However, there are a lot of people who cannot relate to her. I think that if you are a beautiful, successful conservative woman....you are doomed to fail merely because people won't give you a chance.

A person who can listen to the very words of Obama and see his actions and still not see him for the joke that he is....that is pathetic as well. At least I'm open minded enough to see the faults in politicians on both sides of line.

I'm sorry that you wanted this to be merely Palin bashing but you give her no credit for anything just like you blame Bush for everything and Obama is God like. That is truly pathetic. There is more to life than Palin bashing. She will never get the nomination from republics to run in 2012 so why do you even care what she is doing?
That's what I was wondering too - anon

Your post was a good reply. Very concise and to the point. Easily understandable, so maybe that is why they didn't get it.

All they are concerned about is blaming Bush for anything that happens now and in the future. A meteor hits the earth? Hey lets blame Bush for that. Disaster in the philipines or some other far away country...yup, gonna be Bush's fault too. They can't stand to hear the truth. They just want a free pass to be given to BO and his buddies.

As for Palin I really don't have an opinion about her. If she's on TV and the volume is on I'll listen to her. If not I don't go out of my way to listen to her. I don't really care for her, but I don't dislike her either. I do like though that she has really got the libs pantyhose in a bind. They start foaming at the mouth at the mere mention of her name and so it makes me smile when she gets so much attention.

As for the poster who posted about Palin and Steele ticket, I'm thinking...yup...they really have lost all sense of reality. There is no plans for a Palin and Steele ticket so why even bring it up. People who keep going on and on about a Palin ticket when there are no plans is about as bad as saying there's going to be a Jolie/Pitt ticket or Streisand ticket. Just is not going to happen and it would be wise for them to come back to earth. I guess that is their fantasy though.

Luckily though she is not going to be running next term. If that is their only hope of winning is to put her on the ticket I say the democrat party is a pretty pathetic little bunch.

I am looking forward to hearing who the upcoming candidates are so I can research them more. I think all of America has learned its lesson.

Considering that - sm

you are clueless about what "they" are interested in, think indulging in silly juvenile fantasies can pass for informed dialog, employ worn-out cliches when simplistically dismissing the contempt shared by a clear majority (her approval rating tanked bigtime this week) that $P is a voracious bottom feeder who appeals to the lowest common denominator and believe her transparent cat and mouse games when denying her political delusions of grandeur, snapping up the bait hook, line and sinker, you seem a tad over confident when drawing false conclusions about political realities.

The reality is that the media (not your opposing party) speculates on the Palin/Steele ticket because when they scan the political horizons north, south, east and west, there is not a viable republican candidate in sight. The pubs are in the throes of a leadership crisis, in case you havent noticed. Reality number two is that they have no clear agenda or party platform. They are fractionlized amongst themselves, cannot recognize real issues and are totally bankrupt when it comes to solutions.

Reality number three is that, as a result of their party of no obstructionism, they have not one single accomplishment they can point to once the campaign gets into full swing, just a clear record of obstructing progress. They can dress themselves up all pretty while forecasting gloom and doom, but they cannot distance themselves from themselves, the party of corporate interests, Wall Street, friend to the rich and foe to the middle class. That outta go over really big in the middle of the ongoing angst over the economy.

Reality number four is that the majority of Americans are naval gazers when it comes to their job security (or joblessness for 1 out of every 10 of them), stagnant earnings, making ends meet, gassing up the car, hanging onto the homestead, etc....the national debt? No so much. And if you think this mind set is a recent phenomenon arising over the past 18 months or so, think again. Who went to the polls last time around and voted based on their alarm and great concern over the national debt? What do you suppose motivated them when the cast their ballot?

Reality number five is yes, indeed, I am like you and believe wholeheartedly that America has learned its lesson, and learned it well. Voters are not that stupid and have not yet forgotten (despite the pubs best attempts) who started what, how this all happened, who has been trying to mop up and who hasn't. One thing you can take to the bank regarding these mid terms. Historically, jobless folks dont show up in droves to vote during mid term elections. Better believe that WONT be the case this November. Just who do you suppose they will be holding accountable for their plight? By the time Congress reconvenes, 3 million unemployment compensation recipients will have lost benefits to which they are entitled, but that is just a drop in the bucket compared to the 10% of the work force who is jobless and just itching to vote.

you could please point out the place in my post that refers to Obama to which you seem so determined to respond? Please note that I only mentioned W after you brought him up, only to say that the post is not about him. Your first post, on the other hand, was all about O getting a pass because he is a democrat/black man and you rattled on and on about that incoherently. This relates to mama grizzly how?

As for your second reply, kindly refrain from putting words in my mouth and presuming to know my views on either W or O. After all, they are not the subject of my comments, so you have no clue whether or not I am able to discuss their faults. In fact, could you please tell me exactly who this YOU person is in your posts?

Now, about those poor beautiful successful conservative women who cant seem to catch a break (insert violin music here). Palins latest pitch is vapid, insipid, vacuous and void of substance. She can only insinuate that us gals are speaking out all over the nation for common sense solutions. She is not able to articulate the problems she is talking about nor is she able to specify what solutions are being sought, what fundamental changes she/we is/are calling for, or what big bad adverse thingy is threatening to harm her/our cubs. I for one find these mammal metaphors deeply insulting, coming from such a nit-wit who presumes to speak for her/my gender.

I have a bear question for mama grizzly. Why do polar bears sometimes resort to eating their young? She should not find this question too challenging, since she can probably see polar bears from her living room. Here's a hint: Only the woodman knows for sure.
Gee I'm sorry...when you said the word - sm

"pathetic" in your post I immediately thought of Obama and his blind followers. Excuse me for the confusion. I guess I should have stuck with the Palin bashing. Too bad she is of no significance and doesn't have a chance of getting nominated to run for president in 2012....but keep on bashing if it makes you feel special. ;)

Meanwhile, the rest of us will continue to discuss the current administration and the mistakes it has made and how it is currently hurting businesses and the middle class.
My oh my. - sm

For someone who claims mama grizzly is of no significance, you sure do seem to be a tad on the touchy side when someone dares to disparage her. It comes as no suprise that your post has deteriorated into personalized attacks that have nothing to do with addressing the contents of the post to which you are replying. So far all you have been able to show is a pathological complusion to make everything here about your hatred for the president, the inability to stay on task and a monumental intolerance toward anyone who does not agree with you 1000 percent. Impressive.

Yes, and now Obama wants to act like he FIXED - the economy!! -Now, THAT is pathetic!.nm

Tooth Abscess Leads To $6k?Mar 27, 2012
I was pregnant about 7 months ago and I will admit during that time I did not take care of myself. I fell into a depression. I didn't take my vitamins or brushed like I should. I went to the dentist with a tooth abscess that was the size a huge grape. They took x-rays and said it ate a hole in the maxilla and it infected the tooth beside it. The tooth with the abscess is tooth #7, the one next to my buck teeth :) He said he wants to save that dead tooth (it is only hanging now by gums ...

Mama's Baby, Daddy's Maybe, Need Clarification HereJan 01, 2013
Years ago when a couple married and the wife has a baby, the father automatically put on the birth certificate as the father, did not matter if actual father or not, just the way it was done. Fast forward many years. Heard that Kim Kardashian was pregnant and the father of her child is Kanye West. Ok, but wait a moment. She is still married to the Humphries guy, the divorce has not been finalized. Talk on a television program this morning if the baby would be a Kardashian or a West. Can a pe ...

Battle With Breast Lumps, Anyone Else?Jun 04, 2010
I have a family history of breast cancer (aunt with bilateral at a very early age) and have been battling with breast lumps for the past 15 years but very frequently over the last five years or so.  My last breast mass excision was about three years ago after a horrible scare but thankfully it, as well as the others, have been benign.  Three weeks ago I had a horrible attack of cholecystitis (very abrupt) and underwent a cholecystectomy.  While showering three days ago I found yet ...

Santorum: Pre-natal Testing Leads To AbortionFeb 20, 2012
I'm glad Santorum is getting a lot of attention so Americans can see he is friggin nuts. Rick Santorum said on Sunday he believes specific types of pre-natal testing leads to a greater number of abortions. "A lot of pre-natal tests are done to identify deformities in utero and the customary procedure is to encourage abortions," he said. "We know that 90 percent of down syndrome children in America are aborted, so to suggest, where does that come from?" His remarks on CBS's "Fa ...

The Battle Between The White House And Fox NewsOct 20, 2009
The Obama administration, which would seem to have its hands full with a two-front war in Iraq and Afghanistan, opened up a third front last week, this time with Fox News. Until this point, the conflict had been mostly a one-sided affair, with Fox News hosts promoting tax day “tea parties” that focused protest on the new president, and more recently bringing down the presidential adviser Van Jones through rugged coverage that caught the administration, and other news organizations, ...
