This is an excerpt from a blog called Canadia Free Press. The blog entry this came from is quite lengthy, so I have only posted a small excerpt that speaks to the proof that Obama not only hates our military, he hates our country as a whole. I posted the link to the blog below if you are interested in reading further "proof."

Since he took office (after being the only senator against invading Iraq and destabilizing the region further, i.e, Syria and the new group of "evil doers" in that country and Iraq) he has worked towards getting our troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan (which is really Russia's mess to clean up after THEY invaded during the Carter administration - when nobody wanted to do anything about THAT, then, all he could do was boycott the Moscow olympics and take the heat for that). How are you getting HATES THE MILITARY? It is part of America. Nobody HATES the military - maybe the way SOME politicians use our soldiers as THEIR personal property for THEIR convenience/profit (and everybody else just falls in line with it). I.E. the propaganda on TV (Diane Sawyer, Elizabeth Vargas to name 2 obvious ones) during the run up to the invasion. By May of 2002 it was seriously obvious what he was doing, only MY son didn't see it. He listened to a recruiter and joined up. When I saw his military ID graduation night I couldn't believe it. All I could think of was have you not been watching TV? bush is going to start a war, he's getting the public hot for it, and YOU JOIN THE ARMY to get your schooling paid for... what schooling? His GI Bill like many/most has and will go unused and the Army knows it. Since my dad was in, it has been the trend.

And, no, even though you repeat a lie over and over again it doesn't become truth except in the minds of the very dimwitted.

It is the only way to drive home the real facts. Might is right and war are very romantic notions, but there is a stark reality that someone's kid is going to go do that dirty work, and may not come back. I have a child, 14, and am very aware that you we still sign that selective service line to get a Driver's License.

I think I would have gone insane if I had been in your shoes.

My husband's father was in the military and served in VietNam 3 times. He just passed right after divorcing his wife. His wife now says that in between hospitalizations she took him to the JP and they re-married and he changed his will (8 days after he made the will after the divorce).
