On first glance looks like golf is more upsetting - than the ebola

After sifting through the golf outrage headlines plastered all over media, and locating an actual report of events, the cons conniptions appear to be centered around the fact that Ron Klain was absent from two meetings that have been held since his appointment as Ebola Czar. Though he was sighted entering the White House late Saturday afternoon, he was not at the evening pow-wow where CDC contact tracing protocols were discussed. Naturally, there is a perfectly logical explanation for this, since he has not officially started his job yet and will do so early this week after completing the hiring process and gets "caught up to speed" on existing CDC, NIH and other agency data, memos, policies, etc., the same way any new hire tasked with coordinating and implementing response would be expected to do. We can look forward to more apoplectic episodes early next week since the president plans to resume his 2014 campaign trail schedule.
They have to deflect if no new U.S. Ebola - case this week!

They can scratch the cruise ship lab worker off - their list

Her test came back negative after the dramatic helicopter transport of the blood specimen to Ellington Field between Galveston and Houston and the return flight bringing a CDC official onboard to deliver the good news. Disembarking passengers seemed unfazed other than a bit disappointed to have missed their Cozumel shopping stop, but got instead a $200 onboard credit to spend and half off their next cruise. Passengers bound for Jamaica boarded the ship and are on their way. Hopefully the doomsday catastrophists won't be too disappointed to learn the zombie apocalypse is not upon us after all.
All of Mr. Duncan's contacts can now be scratched off too. - nm

You are more likely to die from a gun shot wound. In 2012, 8,655 died from a gunshot wound.
You are more likely to die from AIDS. So far 636,000 people in the US have died from HIV or complications. (Yet, 20,000 had died before Reagan thought he should be bothered with it.
You are more likely to die from the flu, with 2003-04 seeing over 48,000 deaths.
Last I saw, many of the people exposed, living with Eric Duncan, girlfriend are now being released from quarantine. The Texas nurse's dog is said to be doing fine. Looks like the CDC is right after all.
And no one on the airplane with Duncan - has Ebola either

or in the airports. Only healthcare workers who apparently didn't understand how to protect themselves have become ill.
The others have been to the source of the outbreak and managed to get infected.

Trump Ends Obama's African Ebola Amnesty.Apr 26, 2017administration is eliminating one of Barack Obama’s many outrageous amnesty initiatives, this one involving illegal immigrants from African countries affected by the Ebola virus a few years ago. The Ebola amnesty scandal got buried in the hoopla of the administration’s broad executive order protecting millions of illegal alien Mexicans and Central Americans, but it was just as alarming. Launched in 2014, the Ebola reprieve was issued separately—and quietly—via a Temporary Protected Statu ...

Communication And Ebola Patient In DallasOct 01, 2014Today's Ebola news shocker (not!!) is that information obtained from a diligent and thorough nurse failed to make into clinical decision making, and the patient was sent home with antibiotics for undiscovered Ebola. Properly handled, the patient would have gone into isolation at that time, and been treated with appropriate supportive measures, and not spent 2 additional days exposing others to the virus.
If many more Ebola cases occur as a result of this totally commonplace error on the p ...
