Obama’s Plan for Keeping Ebola Out of the U.S.: Monitoring by Flight Attendants and Border Officia

The stupidity and ineptitude of this cretin "president" is appalling.

As a citizen of the United States of America, no matter how much I may disagree with him, I would never, ever disrespect the President of my country. I would not call him nasty, vicious names. I have a bachelors degree in U.S. History and have studied the American presidents. I am not the only historian who is shocked at the degree of partisan divisiveness that exists these days. The vitriol expressed by opponents towards OUR president and those who support him is vitriolic and poisonous yet reminds one of nasty middle school politics. Where is the dignity, honor, respect, and acceptance we all owe each other. We have all on both sides let the media and talking heads brainwash us into no longer being humane towards each other. P.S. I miss the days when I was so proud to be a CMT and thought very highly of all fellow MTs.

Remember how the dems dissed President Bush? - sm

I saw an interview with former Pres. Bush today. Not once did he say anything negative about Pres. Obama. He was very gracious. This was even after very pointed questions regarding early withdrawal from Iraq, etc.
As usual, Cheney is picking up Bush's slack. - nm

has done nothing to fix whatever was wrong when he took over. I admit I voted for Bush both times but I don't agree with everything he did. But Obama is halfway through his second term and I'm not seeing anything for him to be proud of when he writes his next book unless it's a work of fiction.
His book will be fiction. - Lying is all he knows.

I did this. I did that. I, I, I, me, me, me. It will be chock full of narcissistic lies and tall tales. It's all he knows. He hasn't done one thing to make this nation a better place. If anything, he has set us back 50 years. I had such hope.

Charles Krauthammer's "diagnosis" of Obama comes to mind here (see link below). Conservatives have issues with lying unless they're the ones doing it in order to discredit or defame our country's president by making up all manner of stupid stuff, all while they're stuck in November 2012 pining away for a Mitt Romney presidency that will never be, Mitt Romney being one of the most flip-flopping and lying candidates to ever come along in quite awhile. Seriously, it's like the height of hypocrisy to hear obsessive lying liars on conservative media constantly whining about lying, when making up lies and fear and smear is all they know.
That's quite the compliment. - TYVM

to do with it. People feel comfortable voicing their "opinions" with anonymity that they never would do in person where they would actually have to own their thoughts. Can you imagine people working in a place of business and voicing some of the comments made on this board. Oh sure, you say, of course, you would, but in reality there is a lot more at stake in person, and you would actually know the person you are speaking to and would have formed an opinion as to their analytical skills also. Social media has provided a shot gun blast approach to communication, seemingly liberating, but in reality rather empty, no real communication, just say what's on your mind and click like or dislike.

I realize this form of communication has been around for say 20 years or so, for most of us. The difference is,as time has progressed people are becoming exceedingly comfortable at saying whatever they feel, no matter its veracity or source---if they see it in print and it fits their agenda, it is TRUE---no analysis needed.

Not nearly as appalling as Republican hysteria. - nm

Your excitement to bash the U.S. notwithstanding, how on EARTH did you MISS this remark:

“There are protocols in place where those individuals who are leaving West Africa and traveling to the West are screened,” he said. “We’ve ALSO provided guidance to pilots, flight attendants and others...."

Got that? There ARE protocols in place. We are not relying on flight attendants to the stem the tide. We are APPROPRIATELY providing information and guidance as a means of further ensuring the safety of citizens and notification of authorities.

Wouldn't that brilliant GOP plan for full travel ban from - West African countries

Another time O is mimicking something Bush did. There is someone around me who I believe gains access to my bank and phone records.  I have no proof, only my instincts which I do trust.  What I want to know is this:  Is there a way to only give out a masked phone number when I apply for jobs and do business with places?  One that cannot be breached by someone calling and pretending to be me or otherwise convincing someone to give the information?  In other words, a service like this that does not store my info, so the ...
