We will get a lecture on where Africa is and do we know it is not in South America and do we know that people with Ebola COULD NOT POSSIBLY come across the southern border.

sanitary conditions on those trains are near-sterile. In addition to toilets and plenty of toilet paper, they come well stocked with soap and have hot water, too! There are also fully functional and well-stocked bathrooms throughout the desert in the middle of nowhere. No freakin' way germs could be spread!!

People are going to unknowingly bring it to the U.S. We need to perhaps slow down and do medical screenings on flights from abroad....anywhere. This can jump continents quickly. My thought is the southern border is probably about the last place it will come from though. The economy is not such that the people coming to the Southern U.S. border would have much intercontinental exposure.

are showing a lot of promise. The latest I read was a 100% cure rate in lab mice. Might be less effective on humans, but that sure sounds good for starters.

Instead of worrying so much about Ebola, I think a more realistic fear in this country should be the possibility of starving to death, or dying from exposure due to living on the streets. Which is something we ALL face, as U.S. citizens.

Today's Ebola news shocker (not!!) is that information obtained from a diligent and thorough nurse failed to make into clinical decision making, and the patient was sent home with antibiotics for undiscovered Ebola.
