The Tpubs of Congress do not act on climate change because it is "natural." Ebola may be their solution to the woes of social security and other entitlement programs. The plague is estimated to have reduced the population of Europe by 30%-60% in 7 years and the world population by 450 million, a significant chunk of the planet's total human population at the time. Wedge strategists would rather mince words, game semantics and assassinate individual character than these face reality or take even the most preliminary steps toward collective cooperation aimed at controlling a deadly modern-day epidemic. Today's Ebola news shocker (not!!) is that information obtained from a diligent and thorough nurse failed to make into clinical decision making, and the patient was sent home with antibiotics for undiscovered Ebola.
