NoKo threatens US with more 'unexpected gift packages'

I do not want this to become a partisan post. There are enough fingers to be pointed in every direction. The question now is what can or should be done? I am disappointed that China isn't trying to tamp down NoKo. Instead, they perform a missile test as well. Meanwhile, SoKo and Japan are jittery, as they should be.;

party or who is in charge - this is about America being a target of a crazy fool. I don't think trusting China has ever been in our best interests either. This show of who's is bigger is not going to temper the situation. I think Secretary of State Tillerson needs to get a meeting scheduled ASAP and try to talk to the midget nutcase over there. I wondered when they sent up that last missile that was shown could have hit anywhere in the western half of the country how they got something so strong so fast - was it Russia, China, Iran, or a combination of all of them! I think all it takes is stroking of his ego to get him to work with you, so lets get stroking - or something instead of silence!

how close N. Korea's missile came to hitting that Air France plane with approximately 300 passengers on board. The plane apparently passed through the SAME EXACT AIR SPACE approximately 10 minutes prior to the missile. Did N. Korea not even consider THAT?

My brother's buddy from college was born in South Korea. His family moved to the US when he was 5. He was 6 foot 1, wrestled and played football in high school. It is amazing how tall a person can get when they are properly fed.

I am currently watching Mi-saeng: Incomplete Life. It is the story of Korean Global traders who have no concept of the hated globalism. The scope of their trade is truly global. The pacific rim is the future.

Secret Forest highly recommend for those who like cop shows. I watch a lot of K Dramas on Netflix.

This has been going on for several years. the Cambodian government has abruptly told a US Navy unit to leave the country after accepting a $157 million package from China.

The U.S. embassy in Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, announced the news on its Facebook page. “The U.S. Navy Mobile Construction Battalion—better known as the Seabees—is departing Cambodia after a nine-year humanitarian assistance mission,” the embassy wrote.

The Seabees program “carried out more than $5 million in community service projects benefiting tens of thousands of Cambodians,” the notice said, adding that 11 Cambodian provinces had benefited from the projects.

Cambodia has taken out almost $3 billion in loans from China for dozens of development projects. Last October, China forgave some $89 million of Cambodia’s debts.

Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and other Asian nations are also gravitating towards China.

US may soon expand UN talks on NK sanctions, - signaling China deal.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The United States could shortly broaden talks on a push for stronger United Nations sanctions on North Korea to include all 15 Security Council members, signaling a likely deal with China on new measures, diplomats said on Thursday.

Since North Korea's July 4 launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), the United States has been negotiating with Pyongyang ally China on a draft resolution to impose new sanctions on North Korea, which fired a second ICBM last Friday.

"We have been working very hard for some time and we certainly hope that this is going to be a consensus resolution," China's U.N. Ambassador Liu Jieyi told Reuters on Thursday.

Some diplomats said the United States could give the draft resolution to all 15 council members as early as Thursday.

Typically, the United States and China have agreed sanctions on North Korea before formally involving other council members. A resolution needs nine votes in favor and no vetoes by the United States, China, Russia, France or Britain to be adopted."

What are the odds that Russia will vote “No” in reaction to the law just enacted to impose sanctions?

If we can go by Medvedev’s Facebook post, the Russians are pretty pi$$ed right now. He was taunting Trump. He did it to Obama in the past but not to this extent.

I got this from another board and it was actually funny to read. When we got married 18 years ago we got a plunger from my mom's friend thou she did get us another gift also that one was just funny.
