who claim 6-year-old Emile Parker and Principal Dawn Hochsprung didn't really die in the shooting. They find the grieving parents, witnesses and community member suspicious and believe they are all paid actors. They have also said Gene Rosen, the local hero who is the focus of the linked article, has "pedo undertones." These truthers have harassed him relentlessly with phone calls, emails and websites propagating their monstrous slander and have set up phony website accounts in his name.

Honestly, sometimes words just fail.

"Human" is too kind a word. I read a book years ago, "Twilight Eyes" by Dean Koontz. The premise of the novel was that some people were actually goblin-like creatures in disguise who fed off of human misery. If they couldn't find enough anguish to satisfy them, they created it.

Makes more and more sense as time goes on. :[

This is nothing like the WTT or HC. Engineers, scientists, and experts would disagree with you.

SH is a much different story than WTT, which is a different issue than the HC.

they can find all the reassurance they need on line that their suspicions are correct. That all the people who surround them at home, who once would have had greater influence on their thinking, or at least social behavior, to see what's happening.

That this gentle and kind man would be harassed is a crying shame. That there are people out there capable of being so ugly and stupid should make us all wonder about what we are doing wrong in this society. Frankly, these people are the best reason to ban firearms of all kinds, as they are so divorced from reality as to be dangerous, IMO.

I feel the problem is basically with them--not society, which tends to help keep them balanced. It's a personality issue, and not a new one. My sister's like that, just fortunately not prone to acting out. Since I've never been able to sway her tendency to look for conspiracies behind any problem that intrigues her, though, I absolutely refuse to be responsible for them. :) BTW, she is a psychologist herself...

I don't agree that they have no idea how they're behaving. I doubt these callers are leaving their name and number. They are harassing and stalking. If they feel there is a conspiracy, they can pursue legitimate avenues. They don't need to bully this gentleman, and they know exactly what they are doing.
