Hope you feel better soon. This idiot administration sends - money to Palestinians.

So let's set the record a little more straight, and a little less skewed. 'kay?
Humanitarian Aid - Problematic
[ In Reply To ..]
This is far more complicated than just picking sides.

Many administrations have sent money and weapons that have eventually been used against us. At least the aid sent to the Palestinians is sent for humanitarian aid, and we do not directly send them arms.

Of course, money can be diverted and used to purchase weapons.

The U.S. has supported equally disturbing causes directly and indirectly in the past.

Iran - Shah of Iran
Iraq - We supported Saddam before we decided to kill him. (1980s during Iran-Iraq War)

Afghanistan - supported Afghans in war against Russia - and pretty sure they used those weapons against us later

Manuel Noriega trained by the CIA and U.S. Army

Osama Bin Laden - CIA trained

Hosni Mubarak - Egypt

The list goes on and on. We support dictators that we think will stabilize an area.

We help the Palestinians to encourage the population to consider the peace process and prevent genocide. Unfortunately, some of the aid is probably coopted to fight the Israelis.

I wonder how much more ground Israel will - sm

steal from the Palestinians with this endeavor.

Over 200 Palestinians dead, and 1 Israeli dead.

Yeah, that's a "measured response." NOT!

I read this on Israeli National News... - The Prime Minister's office

[ In Reply To ..]
issued a statement that says the IDF has embarked on a ground assault into Gaza against Hamas's tunnels.

The operation is deemed as "limited" and will probably not go further than two or three kilometers into Gaza's territory. This is deemed to be deep enough in enemy land to find the openings into Hamas's attack tunnels, like the one that was used in Thursday morning's infiltration into Israel by 13 terrorists.

Egypt, meanwhile, has issued a statement saying that Hamas is to blame for the possible deaths of hundreds of Gazan civilians. The statement appears to have purposely been issued simultaneously with the statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.

Channel 2's reporters said earlier that the IDF has unleashed a blistering artillery barrage against northern Gaza. They hinted that this type of barrage often precedes a ground invasion.

Also taking part in the shelling were tanks and naval gunboats.

More than 60 Hamas missiles rained down on Israel throughout Thursday, in one of the more intense days of missile fire since Operation Protective Edge was launched.

Egypt actually blamed Hamas. - NM

Hamas to social media activists, always call - dead innocent civilians

[ In Reply To ..]
“Anyone killed or martyred is to be called a civilian from Gaza or Palestine, before we talk about his status in jihad or his military rank. Don’t forget to always add ‘innocent civilian’ or ‘innocent citizen’ in your description of those killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza.” And the mainstream media eagerly plays along with their cynical game.

From Jihad Watch
I read that IDF fears that Gaza could descend - into a Somolia like

situation "with dozens of gangs or clans would take over various parts of the strip."

Didn't expect this when they emerged from their tunnel...

The Israeli military on Thursday said it thwarted 13 Hamas terrorists who slipped into Israel through a smuggling tunnel armed with rocket-propelled grenades and a slew of other weapons less than 2 miles from an Israeli community.

This is one long history with Israel and Palestine - Hamas, PLO, Syria, Lebanon, etc

[ In Reply To ..]
Please try to read some history of this area. The Israelis are no saints in this whole mess, from the beginning of the UN Mandate to now. One could even think that perhaps if they had treated the peoples of the land they had invaded at the end of World War II, that things might be a bit different now. Try searching the term "Israeli bulldozers." I realize that Hamas on their doorstep is not going to work either, but it has been a long history to get here and be careful how strongly you back either side.

Thank you very much for your post! - sm

I doubt that anyone will study this history and understand things the way you do.

What does the State Department have to say - about Christians being

Many Jews and Palestinians get along, they - don't all hate each other

and most of this is being caused by extremist groups. Some of the Palestinians are afraid to talk to Jews or Westerners because of the mullahs.

Israel Attacks In Gaza---againJun 09, 2015
In a very sad way this reminds me of the older brother smacking the younger brother for the younger touching him first. (TFC) Gaza, Occupied Territories — After weeks of provocation, one of the Palestinian resistance groups launched a solitary rocket into Israeli territory. The attack injured no one. Israel responded by launching a series of attacks from American-made F-16 fighters on military and civilian targets in Gaza. The Israeli Defense Force has stated that it will hold Hamas r ...

Ground Beef TrickJan 26, 2012
If anyone has purchased ground beef lately, you know the price is skyrocketing and 1 lb of ground beef doesn't go very far to feed a family of 4.   I buy it fairly lean (so they claim on the package but still a lot of grease).   If I'm making a meatloaf, I would normally toss a bit of rolled oats in to fill and make the ground beef go a little further.   However, tonight was taco night and as I was preparing the beef, an idea hit me.  Can't really disguise oat ...

AP Interview: Iraq Premier Nixes US Ground TroopsSep 18, 2014
Oh, look. The new leader of Iraq does not want and will not allow ground troops from other countries in Iraq. How can we continue to blame Obama for this the same way he is blamed for Bush's Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) to remove all ground troops from Iraq by 12/31/2011? According to the SOFA signed by Bush in 2008, a system had to be established for Iraqi approval of every single US mission. Every single time that US troops leave their bases, it has to be cleared by the Iraqis. Accor ...
