Better things:  Oprah and 3 fundraisers.

'Nuff said about his priorities.

;

I am so glad you are for campaign finance reform - Let's start with Citizen's United

Shall we? Too bad that President Obama has to do this in order to fend off the Trump's of this world. But, as long as we are here, I recall your good friend, GW Bush on Dr. Phil (!), Oprah, the Today Show, etc., (when he wasn't spending time "back at the ranch" performing that very necessary brush cutting).

Wahhhhh poor Barry....could have saved - himself a lot of trouble

[ In Reply To ..]
if he had released it 2-1/2 years ago when Hillary supporters asked him to. Or a bit later when rank and file Americans asked him to. Finally someone started asking with pockets as deep as his. Guess he got tired of spending his money trying to keep it from being released. Money talks!!

GW not my good friend, but he is small potatoes next to the god you worship, Obama. GW did not have a press conference announcing he had more important things to do, the first of which was to do the Oprah show. As a side note, at least he knows how to cut brush. Obama doesn't know how to cut ANYTHING, including SPENDING.

Why do you folks always start blaming someone else for what Barry does? It doesn't make him look any better, and only makes you look more desperate.

Let's talk about the deficit. Let's talk about the assault on the Constitution. Let's talk about proposing a 3 trillion budget with no cuts to existing spending when we are running a 14 trillion deficit and climbing. Let's talk about all the campaign promises he HAS NOT fulfilled, one of which was a promise of the most transparent administration in history. Let's talk about 2 wars ongoing and he added another (unconstitutionally)...when he promised we would be out within 180 days of his election...

Obama is Bush on steroids. Worse that GW ever THOUGHT about being.

Any thoughts on those things above, and why the more important things your President said he had to do was a talk show and fundraisers with this country in the shape its in?

Your credibility = 0. Your ability to see things in any kind of perspective not colored by liberal bias = -100.

Obama - Sick of obama bashing

[ In Reply To ..]
Can't you even engage your brain to think? Must you depend on the media to tell you what is going on. ACK!! Too many wish to question Obama's citizenship because they really wish to question a black liberal in the White House but can't quite bring themselves to openly do that.
You are really one to talk about engaging - your brain to think! lol
[ In Reply To ..]
It doesn't matter what he does or doesn't do, you worship him like a god. Well, you know what? Your idol has clay feet.

What about his assault on the Constitution? What about proposing a 3 trillion dollar budget with a 14 trillion deficit that is growing by leaps and bounds every day? What about so many Americans still out of work? What about promise of the most transparent administration in history that is anything but? How about stonewalling Texas' request for those wildfires that have destroyed so much while he goes off to do Oprah and fundraisers? What about no lobbyists in my administration...would you like a list of the lobbyists in his administration?

And then you trot out the race card. I guess you got the memo from the DNC. Shame on you AND the DNC! This is not about a black liberal in the White House. This is about a LOUSY leader and LOUSY President in the White House!!

Why not try engaging YOUR brain...if it has not been dormant so long it is still ABLE to be engaged, that is. ACK!!! indeed.
Bull - mbmt

It is not just the DNC that thinks there are racist overtones to all of this Obama bashing. Worship him like a god? So, are you saying that anyone that does not view him as a lousy president like you do worships him like a god? As far as engaging our brains, perhaps we have and do not buy into your way of thinking.
Bull yourself, friend. The only explanation - I can find for anyone
[ In Reply To ..]
who can look at the deficit, look at the budget he proposed, look at his assaults on the Constitution like a mini-dictator, accept all the lies he has told and not only accept them but defend them...yes, that looks more like worshipping him like a god or being stiff-necked stubborn party-line toeing no matter how ridiculous it appears.

I don't have that party line toeing problem because I don't belong to either one of them. Or any for that matter. So all that stuff does not get in my way. I just look at the problems and look for someone to come up with solutions. The Democrats have done squat except make things worse. Obama has twice thumbed his nose at Americans, made derisive comments against people from a podium bearing the Presidential seal...and I guess the straw that broke the camel's back for me was the derisive comments, then the speech about sillness and he had more important things to do...and are the next 4 things he does? Go on Oprah and to 3 fundraisers.

Yes, I'm sorry, the fact that you accept all that and still rush to his support makes me think perhaps you have not engaged your brain...free of any bias at least. In these exact same circumstances, if he was a Republican, you would be unequivocally against what was going on. With you, it is all about party. One does everything wrong, one can do no wrong.

With me, on the other hand...if he was a Republican I would still think he was a lousy President and a lousy leader, because he IS. Not because he is black or liberal. If he was a white conservative doing what he is doing I would be taking him to task just the same.

Pure and simple...he has made things worse, and it is not looking any better, because he absolutely cannot bring himself to make the tough decisions that need to be made now because of year after year after year after year of BOTH parties NOT be willing to make the tough decisions.

We are at an empasse. We can either back away from the edge of the cliff or we can all jump off with Obama and the Democrats. I personally will fight tooth and nail to back away. If I don't win, then I guess you and your god will drag me over with you. But at least I won't jump willingly.
Question for you - mbmt
[ In Reply To ..]
Who do you think was a really great president? I am just curious.
Actually, in his first term, I think Bill Clinton - was a good
[ In Reply To ..]
President. He is liberal but his first term he governed more from the center and I think actually tried to be President for the whole country, not just his party. I really think he made an effort and he did a lot of things right..and some not so right, as most Presidents. His second term, I was thinking who are you and what did you do with the other Bill Clinton. It was like some other guy was in his skin. Or maybe he just had me fooled the first term, I don\'t know. People change, and he changed. Still, I think in his first term he was a pretty good President.

There are many things I like about Bush. Spending like crazy is not one of them. Keeping Iraq and Afghanistan going on for so long instead of backing out sooner...I think that was a mistake and I think Obama is just perpetuating that mistake, and getting involved in the Libyan thing...another mistake. Next it will be Syria. More people dying in Syria than were dying in Libya and he sits on his hands. The Middle East is a mess.

I think Bush was a great leader when 9-11 happened. We needed a strong leader badly and I think he did a great job. I wish this country could find its way back to how we felt when all of Congress should on the capitol steps and sang God Bless America. That IS one day when there were no parties, only Americans joined in a common cause. I wish we could find our way back to THAT without a national tragedy having to push us there.

I don\'t have a thing personally against Barack Obama. I am sure he is a great guy, great husband, and great dad. He just is a sorry President. He is not a leader. He should be concentrating on the deficit and not engaging in the very silliness he chided other people for. Take this whole \"birther\" thing for instance. If he had just stepped up to that podium and said \"here it is. I should have released it 2-1/2 years ago and I am sorry I didn\'t, but here it is.\" I would have respected that. How he chose to handle it is how the left seems to handle everything these days. Make fun of people, make a broad statement about \"we have important things to do,\" trouble is, no one ever makes any attempt to deal with the problems. And his idea of more important things to do apparently was do Oprah and 3 find raisers. His priorities are all wrong as far as I am concerned. It\'s like a huge wave of deficit denial. It\'s like let\'s just ignore it until we get elected again and then we will ignore it for another 2 years. It is almost like they WANT the economy to fail. He is the President NOW. He has the job NOW. I would like to see him show that he actually cares about this country and what is happening to it. I have listened to what he says, and watched what he does, and the two are poles apart.

And that brings me to wonder why you as an American are not more concerned about this, why you do not seem to recognize it is time for hard choices and are not demanding that your congress and your President address those choices. Both parties have put that hard decision making off too long and that is why we are where we are. At least the Republicans are trying to address it. The Democrats are not.

Have a good one!

Every one of them has serious flaws, either of character, personality, world view, experience, or philosophy - and in most cases more than one of these - that I simply cannot stomach. In my experience, it's always a choice between the lesser of two evils, but this election cycle seems to have brought out a spectacularly miserable collection of candidates.  And yes, Sanders and Trump supporters, I mean them too - or perhaps especially them too.
