Did you know that the President was a member of THE NEW PARTY?

Posted: Aug 28, 2012

Who is the New Party? The New Party believes that the social, economic, and political progress of the United States requires a democratic revolution in America -- the return of power to the people. Our basic purpose -- reflected both in our own governance and in our aspirations for the nation -- is to make that revolution happen.

I hate to say this but, reading further about this party, it follows the same principles as the Communist party.

Here is the membership of the NEW PARTY up to 1996. I hope none of your representatives are on this list. I also read somewhere that because of some legality, they had to disband in 1997 and their website doesn't seem to have any new info after that year. The fact remains that Obama belonged to this party and they helped get him elected to the Senate.

The Pubs won't pledge to help our country, they pledge to be loyal to Grover Norquist and make President Obama a 1-term president even if they have to sell the country to China to do it. The Republicans should be tried for treason.

Maybe the TP does, but not the R's I know. nm - backwards typist

Because they want to fix SS and Medicare?

And don't give me the crap that they want to destroy SS and Medicare. They do not. If you would read their ideas, you would see this and don't forget, those ideas are not set in stone.

I don't understand why everyone is upset because they want to up the retirement age. They did it years ago to my age group. It didn't kill us.

People have to come together and start thinking about the future instead of just fighting over it. That doesn't solve anything.

...and I hope the rumor that Harry Reid is going to retire is true. Hopefully, NP will follow. That may free up some of the legislation the House tried to get through while those 2 were the big man on campus.

I hope with everything I have in me that the Tea Party does not represent the Republican Party. This is what the Tea Party stands for. They are full of vitriole and hatred. This is not what the Republican party stands for. Obama & New PartyJun 07, 2012
