Who is the New Party? The New Party believes that the social, economic, and political progress of the United States requires a democratic revolution in America -- the return of power to the people. Our basic purpose -- reflected both in our own governance and in our aspirations for the nation -- is to make that revolution happen.
I hate to say this but, reading further about this party, it follows the same principles as the Communist party.
Here is the membership of the NEW PARTY up to 1996. I hope none of your representatives are on this list. I also read somewhere that because of some legality, they had to disband in 1997 and their website doesn't seem to have any new info after that year. The fact remains that Obama belonged to this party and they helped get him elected to the Senate.
