Dear Outgoing President Obama

Dear Outgoing President Obama:
I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I
would like to ask you to assist me.
We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and
we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.
We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.
I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, the President of Mexico, that I'm on my way over?
Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking Government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. Please print all Mexican Government forms in English.
4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.
5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.
7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one
English-speaking officer.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my housetop, put U.S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.
13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.
14. I want to receive free food stamps.
15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies and food bank assistance from the local churches.
16. I'll need income tax credits so that although I don't pay Mexican taxes, I'll receive tax refunds from the government.
17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Government pays $4,500.00 to help me buy a car.
18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all of his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that the President of Mexico
won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.
Do you see how stupid this looks when you put it in writing???? And why did we OPEN the borders and not allow law enforcement officers to be able to ask for identification or proof of existence in this country????
Logic is dead.
Excellence is punished.
Mediocrity is rewarded.
And dependency is to be revered.
This is present day America.
When people rob banks they go to prison.
When they rob the taxpayer they get re-elected.

I take it, you live in California? Of course, I realize now it's all over, but you described the conditions in southern California perfectly. I think I'll join you in Mexico. I want an easier life without responsibility too!

This would be accurate if all illegal immigrants were only from Mexico. You need to send the same letter to the South American Government as well as the Chinese Government, etc. It's only fair.
Do you think South America is. SM - Anon

Dear President-Elect Trump:Aug 03, 2016You have done things in your life that are amazing. You have done things in this election that have never been done before. You have brought people together and you have everyone talking about issues these days, and for that you should be proud. You have been very successful in your life, and you have earned the respect of your children, and many people in the world. I have heard of some of the selfless things that you have done for everyday, ordinary people.

I Applaud What President Obama SaidMay 04, 2011That's what I want to see more of in our country. I like that much better than braggadocio bluster on either side of the aisle. He has common sense in addition to being highly intelligent and well educated. I know I won't agree with every decision he makes, but I'm very pleased with our President. ...
Thankful President Obama Is Mar 25, 2012for part of the pipeline. Regardless of how he feels about continued use of oil for energy, he's gotta admit that it will at least put Americans to work....and God knows we need that. However, I still don't get why he talks about green energy and opposed this pipeline for the longest time before agreeing to it....when he funded off shore drilling in Brazil. I guess I don't get the double standard there. We give aid to Brazil for drilling and yet Obama seems ...

Did President Obama Know About The VA Problems?May 19, 2014It's being reported that the president knew about the problems at the VA since 2008, and so he should since he is Commander in Chief. So, if he knew about those problems and all these other scandals brewing, just what has he accomplished during his presidency other than the colossal failure known as Obamacare? Of all the scandals, the one involving Veterans is right up there with Benghazi. The very people who have volunteered to protect America, including the President, and this is the than ...
Obama Is One Spiteful About To Be Ex-presidentNov 21, 2016Every president has stayed out of the next president-elect's policy changes, etc. and helped them transition to the new administration. Not this guy. He is one spiteful ex-president and two-faced hypocrite. Last week when he met with Trump, Obama said his "number one priority" in the next two months in office is to facilitate the transition to the Trump administration. He said the two talked about "organizational issues," as well as domestic and foreign policies. "I believe that i ...

How President Obama Could Lose My SupportApr 13, 2011I have no political heroes. None! I don't see President Obama as a hero. I don't see him as a villain. I think he's done some things well and others not so well.
However, his speech will determine for me whether I will support him or not. There is not one person running on the other side that I would tolerate so far, so I'm sure hoping he doesn't lose me. LOL.

President Obama Pointing FingersAug 13, 2011at congress. I gotta give the president credit...he is an excellent finger pointer. lol
In all honesty though, congress does have to own up to some of the blame here. However, I don't truly believe Obama blames congress. I believe he is trying to blame republicans in congress because now there are people opposing the democrats on their views. President Obama Clashes With McCain InMay 25, 2010
President Barack Obama battled with Senate Republicans in a tense closed-door meeting Tuesday, facing tough criticism from his GOP adversaries — including John McCain — on issues ranging from health care to border security.

President Obama Approval RatingOct 24, 2012I just took a look at Real Clear Politics and noticed that President Obama's job approval rating is overall +3.4 and Gallup has it at +11 for the past couple of days, and more people polled have approved of his job performance than have not for quite some time. If this is the case, and it appears to be, why would people vote for Mitt Romney and deal with the unknown? It strikes me as odd since Romney seems to be somewhat ahead in the polls with the exception of IBD/TIPP. ...
