Keep up the good work, President Obama!

Posted: Apr 17, 2010

I just want to say that I think President Obama is doing a fantastic job.  I look forward to more positive changes in the future and am grateful that the majority of American citizens were intelligent enough to elect such a brilliant man to lead this country!

Cool

;

Agree! Against all odds he has somehow managed to..sm - Still hopeful

get us on the path of affordable healthcare for all. That is a big deal! Although I applaud him for that, I think that ammendments will be forthcoming in the next few years. Without a public OPTION and competetion, the HCR bill will just be a boon to the insurance companies. That is my big concern.

Doesn't this belong on the comedy board? nm - mtor

The poll shows Obama topping Romney 53 percent to 45 percent, beating Huckabee 54 percent to 45 percent, defeating Gingrich 55 percent to 43 percent and topping Palin 55 percent to 42.

Your assessment of the situation seems to be all in your head.

[ In Reply To ..]
I didn't think so. That would require accepting the reality of hard data/facts. That's OK. Just keep on sayin' it ain't so, but don't expect that abject denial tochange anything anytime soon. GOP STILL has obviously picked a fresh crop of losers.

Palin?? As far as I am concerned, someone - who can not pronounce
[ In Reply To ..]
the world nuclear (NOT nuk-u-lar)should be kept as far away from it's button as possible, and further proven by her latest remarks about the President with regards to nuclear weapons. No, the President is finally getting to move some things along, some improvement is being seen and I think he will be reelected no problem, thank God, Allah, and anyone else who is listening!
WHAT? Hold on there. Did you see your wonderful - president pronounce corpsman?? huh?
[ In Reply To ..]
He pronounced it "corpse man" over and over and over to honor someone. How totally embarrassing, but who cares if he is Commander in Chief. He will learn on the job. This is the scariest president in history. He has improved nothing since being in office.
Oh please, but look at Obama's own approval ratings - TANKING. -Hes made everything worse.
[ In Reply To ..]
But, you know, I am so grateful he stuffed that big bloated stimulus down our throats to keep unemployment below 8 pct. Where I live, it once again rose to 11 this month, the worst in 25 years. Just wait til he gets the HCR going. This guy is so terribly unqualified to be president. How can you not wake up and see this?
Doesnt mean diddly if the opposition party cant come up - with someone who can manage
[ In Reply To ..]
to garner more than a 10-point deficit when electorate is polled SPECIFICALLY on who they would favor in an election, O or fill-in-the-blank. So far, GOP party picks are batting zero, and it's not like any viable leadership is appearing on their horizon anytime soon. After all, who is there other than Romney, Huckabee (former losers of the party's primaries last time around), Gingrich and Palin? They got some dark horse up their sleeve?
Obama had about a 70pct approval, now in the 40s. - If he keeps it up, anyone can beat him.nm

This president is doing detrimental damage to our country, infringing on our constitutional rights and
our children and our grandchildren's futures will consist of paying for his irresponsible spending. Perhaps you should take time to educate yourself as to what this President is really about and what his agenda is REALLY about...He is NOT a good president and I hope and PRAY he is not re-elected. Come on people...it doesn't matter if you are right or left or in between... we all need to GET REAL about where this country is headed and if you agree with having your Constitutional Rights taken away from you then shame on you if you call yourself an American....I for one am Proud to a American and stand up for what I believe in and that is not allowing the government to control every aspect of the money we make and how we spend it!!! It's MY choice what I do with MY money, not the government's.
Shame on you! - Proud US Citizen
[ In Reply To ..]
I am proud of President Obama and proud of the direction in which this country is heading. I am also proud of the fact that each and every one of us is allowed to have our own opinions and voice them freely. To imply that anyone who disagrees with you is not American is truly shameful!
free? - Real
[ In Reply To ..]
You have no idea which direction this country is headed in. You must have been brainwashed in school by diehard Progressives and don't know what freedom is and how fast we are losing it. By 2012, if the end of time doesn't come, you will be seeing a very different Obama and you will end up rueing the day you ever voted for him.
So true. I hope "brainwashed" is their excuse. - Citizen
[ In Reply To ..]
How they can be "proud" of Obama is disgusting. These are the kind of people so blind they could have all the freedoms we appreciate taken away and yet act like a Stepford wife. I have had a hard life, grown up by making my way, worked through it all, and I cannot stand Obama. He is the opposite of what America should represent.
So are Chicken Little and the Boy Who Cried Wolf the - GOPs latest picks?
[ In Reply To ..]
Throughout all of history, the direction of evolution, whether it be of the species or political systems, has been forward, not backwards. It has always involved change. That what progress is, and it is incorporated into the natural ordefr of the human experience, like it or not. Get a clue.

Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school.

To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.

(yawn) happened to hold dual citizenship. Dad adopted him, Indonesian citizenship is automatic, as is the case in most Moslem countries. Indonesia did not need to recognize his US citizenship (yawn). US did recognize his Indonesian citizenship, consistent with its present policy. US does not (yawn) require renunciation of foreign citizenship (yawn, yawn).

Can you say been there, done that? All just as legal as it can be. You birthers (yawn) sure are a hard-headed bunch, aren't you. Nice try, but no cigar (yawn). No smoking gun either.
