Where's your speech for baby shot in the face by black teens? Since he has put himself out there on the topic, I'd like to hear the answer myself.

I'm so sick of people comparing apples and oranges. The fact is, those "black" boys were arrested and are in jail. Zimmerman would not have even been arrested if not for public outcry.

What a terrible crime. I certainly hope we are not going to turn all cross-race crimes into political issues. Fortunately, in this case, the shooters were brought to justice - with assistance from one of the kids' aunts - clearly a woman of character.

I sure hope this post doesn't get deleted.

Dana Perino is a former Bush Press Secretary. The article is is talking about why Obama is not saying anything about that. There is no outrage and he is silent when someone of color shoots a white person.

Not all cases are political, but when someone who is supposed to be a president of the country decides to chime in and make statements they become political.

Her question to Obama is why not this case. Why not the case of other blacks who shoot and kill a white person. He is silent when it comes to that, which sends a message to the country that that is okay.

Remember how W directly intervened between Terry Schaivo and her husband when he wanted to take her off life support after she had a massive heart attack, suffered deep brain damaged after protracted anoxia, spent a couple of months in a coma and then languished on in a vegetative state for 15 years? Remember the obscene Florida Sixth Circuit Court battles he and his oppositional in-laws had to negotiate and renegotiate, how many times they pulled, reinserted, and pulled the feeding tube after the Florida court determined Terry would not have wanted to be on prolonged life support?

Remember when SCOTUS refused to hear the parent's lower court appeal after the president and Congress tried to force them to put the feeding tube back and how abusive the process became? How the husband was forced back into court time after time? Remember the after-midnight Congressional passage of the law transferring the case from state to federal court, which W signed within the hour? The challenge by Florida federal district judges and the ultimate demise of the meddlesome intervention by the president and Congress when SCOTUS mercifully put the matter to rest and allowed the loving husband to be a loving husband?

Like the TM/GZ case, this debacle was symbolic of very highly contested quality-of-life-and-death issues to the American people. So just how outraged was Dana at the president's direct intervention into these intimately personal family matters? How concerned was she that both sides of the story be told? Her response was:

“The president looked at all options before signing the legislation last weekend. He felt that the legislation passed by Congress was the best course of action. Terri Schiavo’s case is extraordinary and sad. As the president said yesterday, he believes that in a case such as this, the legislative branch and the executive branch should err on the side of life."

No one on the planet denied that the shooting of this child was a horrific crime. No one on the planet denied that it should be prosecuted. The shooters are in custody. Since Perino has held positions in government, I would think she would have the sense to understand the difference between these two cases. Thus, we are left to conclude that either Perino is an idiot or she is stirring the pot to further a political agenda based solely on racism and nothing more.

If the government sets an insurance rate you have to pay based upon what you make per year, do they take into account all your other bills, and that sometimes as ICs we don't get any work coming in at times, and then what they set is more than what you can afford (i.e. more money than your paycheck and you still have to pay all your bills). One of my 2yo males has a cyst on the side of his head. I just noticed it this morning, it's about the size of a golfball and underneath his ear. Its not in his mouth.
