[ In Reply To ..]Where in that article does it mention that black lives should matter to black people. When black people stop shooting and killing each other then talk to me about black lives matter. Since black people don't matter to black people then they don't matter to me. You want to kill each other, don't blame that on anyone other than yourselves.
I certainly do not blame the police officers, who put their lives on the line everyday to protect the good people of this country, for being overly cautious. Yes there are cops that go to far but they do not represent the hundreds of thousands of police in our country that serve their communities. But you never hear of the cops that go above and beyond to help and there are many, many that do good and get called pigs and spit at.
A while back there was a house fire with people trapped. When the firefighters got to the scene they had to take cover because they were being shot at. The police arrested 2 black men who had a beef with the people that lived in that house. Two people died in that fire that were trapped. Are those the black lives that matter?
We have many, many successful black people, doctors, lawyers, politicians, successful business owners, but they didn't get where they are today by blaming their shortcomings on everyone but themselves. They realized their destiny in life is in their hands and they went for the brass ring and grabbed it.
In this article it's everyone else that needs to fix the black people's situation.
You want racism to end, then stop bringing it to the forefront of every conversation. Black people cannot have a conversation without the word black people being repeated and repeated during the conversation. If a white person continued to bring up white people in the same conversation, we would be labeled a racist. What a double standard.
Racism exists on both sides. I have experienced racism no different than the blacks.
The whole black lives matter movement is racist and perpetrated by Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton, the 2 biggest bigots and racists of our time.
