“Attention all working americans who work because you have to...sm

Posted: Nov 23, 2011

Do you want a president who will give us endless war to spread the myth that all countries need to be democratic

Do you want your social security to be dismantled or given over to wall street?

Do you really want a government so small that everything is profitized and you must pay?

Do you want deregulation of all corporations because you believe that they will always do whats best for people?

Do you want to work for less than minimum wage?

Do you want to be pepper sprayed when you excercise your first ammendment rights and point out the unfairness of our system that favors the rich?

Do you want to put a party in power that puts the party above the people...even if it means destroying our economy?

If you do, then vote republican, and, if you don't, then wake up and OCCUPY...we are the 99% and we say we want an America that works for us....”

I'm voting Republican, too. I hate this mess Obama got us into. I hope he loses by a landslide!

Partisanship prevents TP/GOP supporters from thoughtful consideration of doing what's best for the country, not to mention the majority of its citizens. Thoroughly ensconced in anachronistic ideology and dogma, in the name of power and greed, they stand united against all reason, as they have been over these past 3 years, frozen in place by their shared poor losership, but intractably incapable of assuming shared responsibility for the state of the nation and its economy, AS IF they could convince a single person, including themselves, that only one man or one party is to blame.

OWS does not endorse any candidate, they endorse ideas that are predicated on some of the most basic American principles, including First Amendment rights and the restoration of access to the American dream for all people, principles the TP/GOP claim to hold dear.

Short term memory problems..... - Let me help enlighten.

Now how is it that a president that inherited the biggest deficit in our nations history is at fault for the problems of today? Doesn't anyone remember the unfunded wars? The unfunded wallstreet bailout (Tarp). Obama had at least the courage to account for those monies in our budget which may I remind you BUSH DIDN'T!!! I'm not saying vote for Obama but at least get your facts straight before pointing fingers. SHEESH!!! I'm sooooo tired of FAUX NEWS WATCHERS!!!! We're smarter than that people!!!!! If not, we're in really big trouble!!!

[ In Reply To ..]
True, Obama did inherit a deficit, but he quadrupled that in the first year! (This cannot be blamed on the Republicans as the Democrats controlled both the Congress and Senate during this time).
I guess you didn't read the OP's message..... - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Obama didn't triple the debt he just added the unfunded portion from the Bush Administration to the Budget when he became president. Educate yourself so you can't be fooled by the thieves. As long as we stay uninformed we are at risk. Check every fact presented to you because there is so much spin and deceit and if you fall for it you're just adding to our problems.

To begin with, our current president did infact inherit a huge deficit, however, he enlarged it by over four times that amount in a very short time in office. If you remember, he claimed he had to do that to keep unemployment from climbing to 8 percent. How did that work out for us? Also, how about all those shovel ready jobs that turned out not to materialize and that was from his own mouth. One would think that when the Dems controlled the house, senate and WH and had complete control with the Rep not being able to stop a thing, that in their infinite wisdom, all the problems in this country would be fixed, and we would be on the road to great wealth and prosperity. Instead, we had the highest unemployment in our nation's history as well as debt. Also, with the Dems controlling the White House, Senate, and House, they did not even pass a budget, and that is a fact. As far as getting my facts straight, these are the facts, just open your eyes and pay attention as to who is doing what. I do, in fact, get my information from many different places from people that are in position to know what is going on. Much of what has happened has been predicted for two years, and they were spot on. Maybe it is you that should find another place to get your facts, if in fact you don't think we are in big trouble as it is. Keep watching MSNBC, CNN, MoveOn.org and Media Matters. It seems to work out good for you, but I will pass. Talk about spin.

ALL presidents follow the Illuminati agenda. - Statistician

[ In Reply To ..]
The 2-party crap is just to keep us divided.

Fact is, ALL presidents have been Illuminati -- that's 222 years of U.S. history, and it's not changing.

If McCain had "won" the 2008 election we would be in the same boat we're in now, only via a different approach. But Obama has more royal blood in his veins, so he "won" the election -- that is a FACT.

We DO NOT have true, honest presidential elections in this country, and we have never have. The sooner you wrap your brain around that reality, the better off we will all be.

So you sheep keep on voting to "throw the bums out," only to have a new set of bums to complain about in a couple of years.

Working While Pregnant...smDec 30, 2009
Hi everyone!  I'm coming up on my 18th week of pregnancy and I'm starting to get a little belly.  For those of you who have worked through your pregnancy, how did you deal with your growing belly while typing?  I know that for me, any little position change completely throws me off and I get sore a lot quicker than I would if I could be in MY position.  Are there any tips or tricks in dealing with a pregnant belly while transcribing.  I'm just dreading the ...

Fibromyalgia And WorkingApr 20, 2013
Do any of you MTs or QAs have fibromyalgia or a form of arthritis which causes you to hurt almost daily and be depressed? How do you cope and work? I am so afraid I have developed fibromyalgia (which is something that tends to run in my family), and I am finding it very hard to sit and work 40 hours a week at a computer. I have neck, shoulder, back, arm, and hip pain and find it difficult to concentrate. What do you do you help you be able to work (I must work) and maintain a fairly active ...

As long as I've been doing this, I should be used to it, but anyone else get upset about working on holidays?  I guess it's because it's summer and I'd much rather be outside floating in a pool, but just working today while knowing it's a holiday is getting to me. A Third Of Americans Now Say They Are Nov 04, 2012
From Pew Research, 09/12/2012: The percentage of Americans who say they are in the lower-middle or lower class has risen from a quarter of the adult population to about a third in the past four years, according to a national survey of 2,508 adults by the Pew Research Center. Not only has the lower class grown, but its demographic profile also has shifted. People younger than 30 are disproportionately swelling the ranks of the self-defined lower classes. The shares of Hispanics and whites ...

We Are All AmericansJun 25, 2017
We are all Americans. Why is it that I feel like an anarchy is about to happen. Blacks are against whites again even though we already fought this fight in the 60s and have laws and blacks are much better off than before the 60s. True not all the problems are solved, but Democrats are helping the young blacks start all over again with their nonstop stuff. I fear that our country will be hit by some other country and something like 911 is the only thing that will join us together again, even f ...

We Are All Americans Jun 26, 2017
To the poster who answered my post entitled We are All Americans, I read it again and I never once called anyone names. I was asking, literally begging you all to come together to make our country the best we can be. What is wrong with that? At any rate, Democrats are so touchy and end up being nasty and hateful and actually physically assault others, all because a person disagrees with them. I don't recall threatening anyone or calling names. Again, I just asked you to stop ...

Anyone Else Like Working Early MorningsAug 19, 2012
Just wondering if I'm the only one who enjoys getting up early and working?  Most people I know think that's crazy to want to get up early, especially on weekends.  I am most productive very early in the morning and lose my steam by the mid afternoon.  I know I can't be the only one, but maybe we are just few and far between?  I always hear, "If I did your job, I would stay up late and work."  Um, no.  Not me.  I would fall asleep at the keyboard ...

Working At Home With A 3-year-oldApr 19, 2013
I can no longer afford daycare for my 3-year-old daughter.  I am literally working around-the-clock, usually waiting for work, just to pay bills.  I am a single parent and have no one here to help watch her, so I need some ideas on what I can do to keep her busy while I work.  I am feeling so guilty not playing with her all day or even just sitting down watching Dora with her!  I feel like a bad mom.  So far today she has watched some TV, colored, played with her toys, b ...

I Do Not Feel Like Working TodayOct 07, 2013
I don't feel like working today.  But I will work anyway.  Because I have to pay for rent, food, health care, child care, and cell phones.  Then once I've taken care of all the people who just don't want to work, I will keep working because I have my own house payment, food, health insurance, and cell phone to pay for.  Because I think it's wrong to expect someone else to pay for all those things for me when I am able to work and provide for myself. ...

New Tax Law For People Working At HomeFeb 21, 2014
When itemizing I always took the bills including internet, water, gas and others, added those up and then you took a percentage. That has changed for this year. The only problem I have now is how do I find the square footage of the office?? ...

The results revealed that Americans ...
