What doctor prescribed - Antibiotics for the flu?

Prescribing antibiotics for viruses vs infection is extremely dangerous and personally, I would report this doctor. It's a danger to society as a whole, actually, because the infections are becoming more and more resistant to antibiotics because of misuse. It's also a danger to you to use antibiotics for a non-infectious reason. Your own body will become resistant.

I don't know if it's illegal to Rx antibiotics for the flu, but it's certainly a really stupid thing for the doctor to do. Though, some patients jump up and down and insist, so I suppose your doctor may have been in that situation.

Bronchitis, flu A went into post-flu pneumonia, started out on zithromax, then tamiflu, then ceftin for the pneumonia, cough syrup with codeine gave me bad headache, tessalon pearls didn't work, 2 courses of Advair Diskus and 3 weeks of mucinex LA. I just stopped barking this week, started 2 months ago.
