And the subject turned toward having those late afternoon "crashes" and what you can do about it. It seems like every day between 3-4 I just feel like I cannot go on without a cat nap and instead I find myself getting up and walking around a lot, getting more coffee, diet coke, etc., anything to stay awake. He stated that pineapple, because of the level of the acidity in it, is an energy food, to try eating it when you reach these "crash" points. So I decided to try it.
For the last three days I have had a pineapple sandwich or some sort of pineapple for lunch and I have to tell you that it has made a HUGE difference. The first day I really did not notice that much of a difference but for the last two days I have been able to work straight through my normal "crash" times without any problems, no sleepiness, no drugged feeling, etc. It has been wonderful!! Now, lol, my question ..... is this really just mind over matter or do you think that the pineapple is truly working?
