Okay, weird question, but I'm wondering if your teeth shift around after a certain age (I'm 53).
The reason is this. About 4 months or so ago I had a tooth that broke in half. It is one that has a filling. Went to the dentist and it cannot be repaired. It needs to be extracted and then I would get a bridge or partial. It is not in the front, it is in the middle (3rd tooth from my back molar - in other words if I smile or laugh you don't see it). So, to make a long story short I don't have money to go to the dentist and have that done. However, I think the filling is starting to come out (half the tooth is missing and don't know how the filling is staying in to begin with). I'm getting a slight discomfort like I can feel a cavity.
So..I have no money (and I mean no money cos I don't even know how I'm going to pay my bills), but I have no money to get extensive dental work done. I was wondering if I just have someone pull the tooth will my other teeth shift or will it just leave a hole there. Can I just have it pulled and then later down the road when my huband gets a job and we have some extra money coming in then get a partial or bridge? I don't know anything about teeth except that I'm petrified of dentists. :-)
Thanks
