That really makes me want to throw up - Utterly disgusted and horrified

My god what a horrible horrible ordeal for this baby to go through for that long. My heart just aches with sorrow for her. Just like that story of the girl in Florida who was missing and they just found her body yesterday (I think) in a landfill. I just don't understand it. What makes people do stuff like this. It is just very very sad. Same with people who abuse animals. We keep having this commercial on TV about abused animals (think its for a shelter - unsure what the commercial is for as I have to turn it off because I'm in tears every time it come one) - why are there such horrible creeps in this world. I just don't understand.

[ In Reply To ..]I listen to the radio station this morning that broke the story and the morning host has a now 5-month-old daughter. She was ABSOLUTELY livid. A psychologist was on and basically gave the typical "namby-pamby response" -- the mother is of course also facing charges but as was mentioned this morning, the one thing that other prisoners will NOT tolerate are men/women who have commited crimes against a child.

A mother's duty when having a child is to protect that child at by any means. There are means! That man would have been dead the first time, or at least rotting in jail right now if it was me. I think they came out with a map recently about pedophiles and the areas they live in, and trust me they are everywhere. It sickens me to think that children are not safe, and these people love to be within proximity of where children are, even though they are supposed to be a good distance away from any school. I represent an organization that works to protect children against predators, and the stories are pretty sickening, and the lengths these people will go to to be around children is unbelievable. That is why we must work hard to know where these predators live. You can go on line and look up these predators in your own neighborhood, and if you haven't done that, please do. Being alert and aware of where they live is a good way to protect your children.

I googled to find the doctor's address (very uncommon name), and a sexual predator flyer with the same exact name and a photograph of the perpetrator popped up as one of the top google results. I clicked on it (of course), and the guy was in his mid 20's; not the doctor, but probably his son since this guy was a "Junior."
I guess it just reinforces that perverts come from all walks of society, even the elite, privileged children of physicians, etc.

The best thing is that it lists schools and parks and I though that the sex offenders were NOT suppose to live near them or like a set amount of feet away.
