Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool; even less are lies fitting for a ruler (Proverbs 17:7). The first to plead his case seems right, Until another comes and examines him. (Proverbs 18:17). Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips. (Proverbs 14:7). Test everything. Hold on to the good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

because this pertains wholely to our pending "election" and the types of people involved in campaigning. It holds true of every one of the candidates and how we, as a voting public, should perceive them and their actions. This is VERY political at this time.

politics is made up of humans, and the Bible was written as a guide for humans on how to live. This coincides perfectly with the way we should be choosing our next government "leader." It is not "disrespectful" at all. Actually politics is disrespectful to most honest, free thinking, people with their lies, scams, and corruption. They want us to "believe" and unfortunately, most of you do.

Skip the faith board and take it directly to the nearest pulpit you can find. The audience there will be much more receptive to back-to-back scripture citations, the tedious "shoulds," the divinely sanctioned disdain for politicians, their believers and followers, the separation of the devout from the great unwashed multitudes of sinners and the self-righteous preachings of the morally superior.

"They want us to 'believe' and unfortunately, most of YOU do" says all I need to hear. This belongs on the faith board where the flocks will welcome the opportunity to appreciate this inspirational offering.

but I had originally posted this on the politics board because some of or most of the frequenters of that board highly need to read, listen, and heed, and somebody "reported" it stating that it needs to be on the faith board where us "believers" can take part in the words. Obviously those on the politics board are "too far gone" to appreciate any words from the Bible or their true meaning. They apparently like things the way they are, but I surely don't. But anyway, I am glad that someone understood the words and appreciated what their intention is. Bless you too. :-)
