H.R. 1 didn't pass in the Senate 56-44. In case you didn't know

that was the pubs $61 billion spending bill. Now Reid just put an amendment in #149. Haven't read it but now they're voting on the dem version which only cuts $6.5 billion. Ya know that will pass since the pubs are outvoted.

These guy (and gals) are really ticking me off now. I want these freshmen conservatives who we worked very hard to send to Washington to get off their chicken butts and do what they were sent there to do. Where the heck are they?! Does anyone hear from them?! Boehner must have a tight rope around these freshmen's neck, but they better cut loose pretty soon, or they're going to be voted out next time. Don't get me started on Boehner and Cantor....

The Reid bill will never pass the House so it really doesn't matter. Stalemate again. Honestly, they need to get serious and start cutting major money, 61 billion is nothing when you have a 1.65 trillion deficit this year alone. Let the government shut down. If we can't find a way to pay for it without borrowing then shut it down. Why don't they cut the 105 billion for Obamacare to start?

Actually though I think the more conservative people voted against the bill because it wasn't cutting enough- maybe they are holding tough, don't know haven't seen the ayes and nays yet to see who actually voted what.

as I'm not familiar with all of them, but I'm pretty sure most of the pubs voted for it. Don't forget, the senate is the majority and has the upper hand.
