Do you know whether she is allergic to spider bites or not?

If you're not sure, just watch out for the following signs. If someone is severely allergic, it will just take moments, but still be on the lookout later on. As to the time frame, I would call your local hospital & see if there is a nurse on call to answer questions---or if they have a website.

In a true allergy, she will swell AWAY from the site. In other words, if she gets bit on the arm, and her eye, say, swells, that's cause for getting her immediate attention by a health professional. Obviously, if she feels any swelling of her tongue, that is a medical emergency. Any hives anywhere (even close to the site) is also cause for concern. Hives are a very specific reaction and are not to be taken lightly.

I don't know if spider bites are a common insect allergy---bees and fire ants seem to be the most heard about---but you can't be too careful.

Thanks so much for this info!! She is still not - sm

Recall Of H1N1 Vaccine In Canada Causing Allergic Reactions.Nov 24, 2009
http://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory?id=9164033 I have read a "few" reports that this H1N1 flu was a conspiracy (lab made) which would then cause to give the vaccine in order to try and kill as many people as possible because we do not need an over populated world and it would then try and cause a one world order.    Also read reports where the flu is mutating.  Tamiflu resistant in some patients and Ukraine and Iowa are having problems where they are seeing patients with bla ...

Tick BiteApr 30, 2015
I live in NJ.  My house is pretty much in the woods.  Last year, I found a tick embedded in me 3 different times.  Once in May, another time in July, and then again at the end of the summer.  The first two occasions required a course of antibiotics for several weeks because I had a rash at the site of the bite.  I also had to have a Lyme antibody test to make sure I was not infected.  This year, my husband and I are determined to be extra careful.  There is ne ...

Has Anyone Tried An OTC Bite Guard For TMJ Relief? Jan 20, 2012
I have TMJ that flares up and has been hurting me for the last couple of days.  My dentist has said I need a bite guard for when I sleep and when I'm working because I clench my jaw and grind my teeth at night.  However, to get one made through her will cost me $300 because my insurance will not cover it!  I've looked at the OTC ones that you can sort of "do it yourself" and fit it to your teeth.  My dentist has said I should absolutely NOT use one of the OTC ones b ...

Watch Out Dems, It's About To Bite YouMay 11, 2017
I saw reporting yesterday that said everyone in the intelligence community knows that unmasking requests are thoroughly documented. The report also said Comey was slow walking the requests from Congress regarding that documentation. This may mean that all the bluster you see from Republicans in Congress right now about Comey getting fired is just a smokescreen. They want to be on the record as fair-minded individuals, opposing Trump, fully supporting the Russia investigation (knowing nothing ...

Has Anyone Else Ever Had A Reaction To Salicylic Acid?Apr 15, 2011
Just curious. I've been using clinique for years and have had reasonable results. Because I live in a very unpredictable climate, my skin is hardly consistent. I was breaking out a lot and so used another one of their acne products that has a higher concentration of SA. Anyways, now i've had a reaction where my skin is quite irritated, can be red sometimes, and feels like its burning. I've done some research on remedies....does anyone else have suggestions or remedies? i'm su ...

Reaction To The President's Immigration PlanNov 21, 2014
"The president's decision is not a political victory. It's a victory for families. We know well that this decision is not a permanent solution. It is a first step. If we had it our way, President Obama would be signing a comprehensive immigration bill into law instead of an executive action, but can't sit idly by waiting for Republicans to act while homes are being broken up all across this nation." — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. Another "comedian" About To Bite The Dust?Jun 03, 2017
While interviewing Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse, Bill Maher used the "N" word and then said he wasn't kidding. Time to call HBO and sponsors? Maybe mediaequalizer.com has a list of his sponsors. I'm always facinated at some people who think all social problems and situations are so black and white.Abortion is here to stay, whether it's legal or not, just like it's always been an option when a woman finds herself facing the impossible situation of an unwanted pregnancy. It doesn ...

Cat Question Aug 05, 2011
Don't know if you remember my last posts awhile back about a stray cat we started feeding and took care, gave her shelter for the winter and she had kittens.  We've taken the kittens in and adore them all.  Now...here she is 3 or 4 months later, every once in awhile I'll get a glimpse of her nursing them.  Vet told us milk has to be dried up before they can fix her.  However, she is a stray and she has been going out walking around the neighborhood like she has ...

QuestionMar 22, 2010
Okay, here is a question that I have not seen come up here.  While watching news today this just crossed my mind.  If the government sets an insurance rate you have to pay based upon what you make per year, do they take into account all your other bills, and that sometimes as ICs we don't get any work coming in at times, and then what they set is more than what you can afford (i.e. more money than your paycheck and you still have to pay all your bills).  As ICs I'm sure ...

Question......Apr 11, 2013
Just curious about a couple of opinions.  First of all, I like to tan.  I know the health risks, etc., but I enjoy the way the sun makes me feel and I enjoy my skin with a tan.  We just recently moved to "town" into a neighborhood.  I live in a small area.  I have a fenced in backyard and the neighbor is pretty close and their yard is also fenced in with a separate fence, not even joining mine. E-Bay QuestionNov 19, 2013
Hi everyone, I absolutely love Swarovski Crystal, in particular their earrings. I have a couple of pairs that I paid full price for, but they are too expensive. (Earrings run from $60-$300+.) I saw that E-Bay has a really nice selection, and you can just do a Buy Now for way under market price--I'm not into the bidding thing, BTW. Thing is, how do I REALLY know it's Swarovski? Some of their jewelry is signed, and some of those posts say so, but not all their jewelry is signed ...
