Are you referring to lone wolfs (like Timothy McVeigh) because that's exactly what the white nationalist last week was who plowed into the crowd of antifa/blm. Lone wolfs also exist on the left (Hodgkinson), and he was encouraged by the rhetoric of those on the left (to deny it is to not look at it through a clear lens).

No ideological team has its hands clean when it comes to digging up instances of violence, but as far as organized violence? That didn't pick up recently until Trump's election and antifa forcefully trying to shut down even those who might lean right.
