NONE of their salaries should EVER be this high.....this is sickening. They are public servants. Their sorry butts should be making LESS than the private sector.....and please don't start with the R & D party line crap; NONE of them should be making this money!! How easy to cram the sham healthcare will now be down our throats but THEY don't have that healthcare. THEY don't give a rip about the laws they pass or how it affects people's pockets, because THEY are making a killing and will be for the rest of their sorry lives!!! Except for Ron Paul.... he didn't continue to take pay when he left and won't when he leaves the next time either! I'm just as offended by thier pay as I am by the CEOs getting billion dollar bonuses. And you have to figure in thier expense accounts, too - you know, like those several hundred dollars worth of flowers we paid for so Nancy Pelosi's office could look nice.

I wish I knew if my senator was one of them; he wouldn't like the message he would get from me. Regardless, he will get one anyway because I want to know WHY anyone up there wouldn't think freezing their pay or cutting it for that matter wouldn't be a good idea....
