If you've been paying even the slightest attention, they're still arguing about it - mostly behind closed doors, but also in front of the cameras. That's why Pelosi doesn't have the votes yet - they're still cutting deals.

The links you provided are worthless as far as providing any clarity on what the final bill will actually look like, and Pelosi was right, as reprehensible as the situation might be. It's astonishing that she came out and admitted it.

an anemic and weakened version that scarcely resembles the original version. The support has eroded due to the absence of a public option, which continues to enjoy strong and broad support. Generally speaking, the senate version of the bill garners around 35% support, where the public option commands percentages that range between 60-70%. This would imply that health care reform is very much desired. The P-U factor for the current version is directly attributable to the GOP influence and meddling that has turned this into a giveaway for insurance companies.

Partisan politics has held HCR hostage for decades now. This is the biggest shame of all, considering how badly it is needed and how widely it is supported. As for your 1/6 of the economy Code Red Alert mantra, that number will rise sharply over the years WITHOUT reform, in terms of dollar-per-dollar spent on health care. The public option would have reined that in and actually reversed the trend over time. Nice job, GOP, nice job.

As ANY legislator will tell you, the devil is in the details when it comes to legislation. When whatever bill comes out, it won't be no eleven pages. It will be something as monstrodious as the previous abominations, or worse - count on it!

If the devil is in the details and the details have been provided to you, read up and try to articulate exactly what you are talking about. Your so-called laundry list adds tweaks to the Senate version and will seriously be considered throughout the remainder of the process. Brushing it off so casually isn't going to change that.

This will be rendered a moot point soon enough, now that the process is being subjected to public pressure and suggested deadlines. Just be patient.

Do you ever check anything out before making these bogus claims? The Ethics Committee rules, policies and procedures (you know, the ones you claim are so secretive) are posted on their website, some 623 pages plus the Code of Official Conduct which is not paginated.
