When the election is over? What will we talk about then? I don't want to go back to the regular ole MT board!

I'm not so much worried about losing honestly to the other party as - that they may steal and buy the election.

An honest loss is the system working the way it's supposed to. The other an indicator of a deep-seated, pervasive rot that endangers the future of our republic.

My own state literally cannot audit the vote, which is 100% electronic on machines that are notoriously easy to hack, under the control of a commissioner who is a bald-faced partisan of one party. "Appearance of impropriety!" What's THAT?

There's no chance of having this state's presidential vote diverted from what it would have been in an honest vote--it's very red, but voters may well have their choices for local representatives in state offices quietly replaced with those of others. Unless someone who wasn't even on the ballot is accidentally named a winner, there'll be no way to know.

That's exactly the part of this whole process - that has literally kept me up at night

It's been about a week now I've had bad trouble falling asleep and staying asleep which I normally don't have problems with. Melatonin dosing enough to knock out an elephant hasn't helped. I thought it would get better after I voted. It got worse. It's more than run of the mill election jitters.

In Revolutionary days those who cared had trouble - sleeping too. These are serious times. nm

We can spend much time expressing our outrage/delight about the results, then probably switch to what is going to happen to America now, then rant/rave about future policies/bills presented, as well as future appointments into office, and let's not forget the inaugural speech and how arrogant/enlightening it was!

Oh! And reading the post above me, of course there will be much screaming that it was RIGGED! from the losing side, whichever it may be. LOL

Hopefully, people from ALL sides will be demanding - an end to "rigging." We should onliy be

worried about being outvoted at this point. That we actually NEED international monitoring of our elections is far more sinister than just a national disgrace.

Here's a little tidbit for sidetracking:

There's a woman (missed the state) that went into labor while she was waiting in line to vote but said nothing was going to stop her from voting. Her polling place? New Life Church.

She did get to the hospital in time and had a perfectly healthy baby.

Good morning all! I am a 42 year old woman, mother of 4. About 4 months ago, I stopped having my period completely. I've did a pregnancy test and it was negative. These women had no say in where they were or who they were with, did they? I think I read that the youngest wife was 'gifted' to him. I hope they are treated well. I also hope they give out some good information, if they know anything. Also, what appeared to be his will admonished his wives not to remarry. So he wants to control them even in death.
