from Hawaii has quit her position as vice chairman of the DNC and endorsed Bernie Sanders for president.  She backs Sanders in good measure because he’d be a wiser commander-in-chief “so that we don’t continue to find ourselves in these failures that have resulted in chaos in the Middle East and so much loss of life.”

...but I bet we see no articles in the MSM about - "civil war" in the Dem party

...like we've seen about the GOP.

Clinton and Sanders seem supportive of - each other.

[ In Reply To ..]
Clinton even re-tweeted Sanders' message about Trump recently. They haven't been attacking each other like the republican candidates, probably because Trump makes an enemy out of everyone and it's forcing the republicans to argue amongst each other a lot.

Clinton and Sanders, panic mongers trying to equate - two completely different

Since Obama decided to let Iran build a nuke, I would - say his failures will result in chaos

the Middle East has never seen.

I'll have to remember that line the next time I want people to pay attention to me. "Chaos in the Middle East."

Hillary's emails had Ambassador Chris Stevens' - loacation in Benghazi. I always

How Do You Combat The Sedentary Life? Jun 08, 2011
So the big news is using standing desks because sitting in a chair is bad for you even if you work out regularly.  I tried it today and it would be very hard to get used to it because using the pedal is super annoying.  I'm wondering what you recommend and how you keep from just sitting in the chair for hours on end.  Let's come up with some good ideas for staying active.   ...

Women In Combat Could Hurt Retention, Feb 15, 2013
Nearly one in four males in the U.S. Marine Corps said they would leave the service if women were involuntarily posted in combat positions, according to the executive summary of a little-known survey commissioned by Marine Corps leaders and obtained by the Free Beacon. A similar number of Marines of both sexes said they would not have enlisted in the corps if this had been policy at the time. Twenty-three percent of both male and female Marines “said that they would not have joined” ...

Sergeant Bill O'Reilly In CombatFeb 21, 2015
O'Reilly has spent years and years bloviating about all the time he's spent in combat. All this video and audio will be surfacing thanks to Bill-O's little name-calling tirade last night. Should be fun to watch. A nice little "miracle I found it" memo and a little pouty session where O'Reilly plays the poor little victim of the left-wing media meanies does not erase his years and years of claiming to have been in combat in a war zone. Listen to O'Reilly at the link b ...

Back From Combat, Women Struggle For AcceptanceDec 15, 2009
By KIMBERLY HEFLING, Associated Press Writer Kimberly Hefling, Associated Press Writer – Mon Dec 14, 6:03 pm ET WASHINGTON – Nobody wants to buy them a beer. Even near military bases, female veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan aren't often offered a drink on the house as a welcome home. More than 230,000 American women have fought in those recent wars and at least 120 have died doing so, yet the public still doesn't completely understand t ...

US Senate Republicans Blocked The Veteran's HealthMay 21, 2014
And now they're blaming the President for this problem...I find it sad that they couldn't find room for this in their budget, but had no problem with the cost of the government shutdown. How much did THAT cost?   (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Republicans blocked legislation on Thursday that would have expanded federal healthcare and education programs for veterans, saying the $24 billion bill would bust the budget.   Even though the legislation cleared a procedural vote on T ...

Texas Veteran Fired From Home Depot After Jul 17, 2017
A 70-year-old veteran says he’s out of a job after he tried to stop some thieves from leaving the Home Depot store where he worked. It appears what he saw as doing the right thing was against company policy. Jim Tinney says trying to do the right thing has guided him pretty well in life. “In the Army, they train you to do things like that,” Tinney said. Recently, Tinney said he saw three men carrying tool sets worth thousands of dollars to the checkout area at Home Depot. He sa ...

An Answer For "Seriously" On The Veteran's BillsMay 27, 2014
Takes a little time to do the research on the bills you listed instead of relying on blog posts by Daily Kos.Guess what I found....Congress (House AND Senate) were controlled by the Democrats when these bills came up for vote - and here's how the votes went. Granted there are two of them I couldn't find the votes for, but the rest of the bills tell a different story than what's being lied about. IRAQJun 12, 2014
Maybe BO can negotiate with the terrorists overtaking Iraq and broker a deal to reduce our fuel prices. He didn't listen to all of the military opinions before his premature withdrawal and look what happened, just what many military experts predicted. Thanks, Mr. President, for undoing what was done. Also, Iraq was apparently recently begging the WH for military strikes against the terrorists, but he declined. I guess he was busy on the links that day. ...

Unexpected Effects Of Iraq WarMay 14, 2015
Here, I thought it was just bad, the waste of money, the waste of American lives, the waste of Iraqi lives, (not necessarily in order of importance), being lied to to get us there, but this, I did not know about.   This makes me even more disgusted with the Cheney/Rumsfeld war machine.      ...

From Mitch McConnell's home town newspaper. http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20101111/OPINION01/311110017 In his new memoir, Decision Points, the former president tells of a meeting he held in September 2006 with Mr. McConnell, then the Republican whip in the Senate. The occupation of Iraq was going horribly, American and Iraqi casualties were rising sharply, costs had mushroomed into the hundreds of billions of dollars, and Iraq was teetering on the brin ...

What About Iraq War Veterans Committing Suicide??? May 29, 2012
I just watched a TV documentary about new war veterans coming back from Iraq.  They say that every day at least 28 veterans are committing suicide.  This is truly shocking news.  I am wondering if their statistics are really accurate.  They say that only 33% are approved to receive PTSD benefits.  There is not enough money in their budget to approve all the claims.  I used to transcribe Veteran's health care reports and know that there are many mental heal ...

Watchdog Report: US Spent Too Much $ In IraqMar 07, 2013
I'm all for rebuilding after we've devestated a country, but there has to be a way to do it without wasting billions of dollars. US Blackwater Lawsuit Signatures Sought By Iraq Jan 19, 2010
Iraq has begun collecting signatures for a class action lawsuit on behalf of people killed or wounded in incidents involving US security firm Blackwater. It will seek compensation for a number of such cases, the office of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said. Incidents include the 2007 killing of 17 Iraqis in Baghdad's Nisoor Square. Last month, a US judge dismissed charges against five Blackwater guards over those killings, which Iraqi officials described as "regrettable". Immediately ...

Obama May Break His Promise On Iraq WithdrawalJul 06, 2011
Do you think we will EVER be out of Iraq completely?  Sadly, I don't.    Obama May Break His Promise on Iraq Withdrawal By Conor Friedersdorf U.S. troops were supposed to be gone by year's end. But the White House is now offering to leave behind a force 10,000 strong. During Pres. Bush's last year in office, he agreed to a timetable for troop withdrawals in Iraq: U.S. forces would leave by the end of 2011. The same year, Barack Obama insisted that if ele ...
