What jerks!!!!!!!!! Don't they believe in checking their sources first or are they just that ignorant and don't give a hoot who they hurt?
More than 100 pro-union demonstrators swarmed the Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, home of Gov. Scott Walker’s elderly parents Monday evening to protest the Republican’s proposed state budget.
The protesters circled the home on 68th Street and called out, “Hey hey, ho ho, Scott Walker’s got to go,” “The students united will never be defeated,” and “Students are not for sale,” Wauwatosa Now reported.
Shouting through a megaphone, Wisconsin Jobs Now Director Jennifer Epps-Addison justified the protest by arguing the governor’s proposed cuts to education were invading their own homes, the newspaper reported.
Wauwatosa Now reported that Mr. Walker lived at the home, but the governor’s son, Matt, tweeted a correction: “‘Protestors March on @ScottWalker’s home’ CORRECTION: protestors March on my grandparents home,” he wrote, linking to the Wauwatosa Now report.
“They’re protesting out front of our home. Who lives there you might ask? My grandma & grandpa. Unbelievable,” the Republican governor’s other son, Alex, tweeted.

mentioning is that Wisconsin has a biennium budget which covered 2009-2011. Gov. Walker was not in charge of that budget. Gov. Doyle WAS. It was his decision and the state legislature to finalize a budget.
First of all, in reading the article, it seems that there's quite a few "Teacher of the Year" awards given out in Wisconsin and ADMITTED by that one teacher. So the idea that she accused Gov. Walker of lying is truly a deflection.
Now, on to the protests over the budget.....
Governor-elect Scott Walker asked the Democrat-controlled legislature to not approve labor contracts with state employees before he takes office and the Republicans gain control of the legislature, but Democrats had said they plan to take up the no-pay-increase contracts because the contracts cover the current budget period.Governor-elect Walker countered, saying that the contracts should be left to him and Republicans because they had an effect on the next budget, which faces a shortfall of up to $3.3 billion.Walker had also called on state unions to pay more for their health care and pensions, saying it would help the state deal with a possible budget shortfall of $150 million or more.
Gov. Jim Doyle signed the 2009-2011 biennium budget on June 29, 2009...the new state budget cuts overall spending by $3 billion, doing so while cutting 1,000 state employees, imposing across-the-board budget cuts for state agencies and the rolling back of 2 percent pay raises for state employees that were to take effect this month.
Plus,a July 20, 2010, ruling by the Wisconsin Supreme Court held that state must repay a medical malpractice fund more than $200 million it took to balance the budget three years ago.
(I have highlighted and bolded the above 2 paragraphs so the facts can be made clear).
So, the cuts were NOT due to Scott Walker (R). They were from Governor Doyle (D) and his democratically controlled legislature. The unions have it all wrong but it doesn't matter because they would never admit to being truthful. That Scott Walker got as much done as he did is quite a feat.
BTW, education costs were #1 on the budget which took 37.3% of the total budget.
