If the GOP does not nominate a candidate that represents true conservative values, get used to 4 more years of Obama. You cannot win the general election without the support of the Tea Party or the Ron Paul wing - principles over party.

Opposition infighting is a party's best friend. I guess they think this inflexible unwillingness to compromise and it's my way or the highway approach makes for effective blackmail, but as a campaign strategy, it is doomed to fail. If you cannot sell your principles to your fellow pols, or to the voter electorate at large, what does that say about what those principles are worth? Just curious.

The country is controlled by the big banks, the stock market, the tobacco industry, the oil industry. They've got the money, so what they want they get, and what they say becomes law. As so many of us discuss on this board, I have a lot of difficulty staying alert/fully awake when sitting for so long when I'm working.
