Government insurance is just another step toward socialized medicine, where the government will be deciding not only what type and amount of insurance you need, but how you should be cared for.

life support since October 2016, has not cost his parents a dime in addition to their British taxes, ultimately in the millions of dollars. Usually, after a brain death diagnosis, life support is discontinued after days or weeks. I think Great Britain went above and beyond in this case. I think the parents see that now. Heartbreaking!
Yeah - THEY KILLED LITTLE CHARLIE GARD FOR FREE - Heartbreaking indeed

Sure would not want some Liberal Fascist having POA for anyone in my family. LFs thought process too twisted and bizarre...maybe Great Britain can work on the Liberal Fascists next.
Death panels. That what this amounts to. His parents - were even going to pay and they

socialized medicine. If an "experimental treatment" in the US would have proved successful, then the government and doctors in the UK would have to bring it there. That all costs money.

The US includes data on every infant born breathing. The entire rest of the world does not. In Europe they don't include premies until they are 30 days old. Most don't include premies until they live to their original due date. If the US adjusted the data to the same rules as the other countries, our infant mortality rate would be among the 3 best in the world.
Yeah, look what happened when they decided not to pay - anymore. Death panels.

Now maybe people will believe that there are progressive - RINOs, including McCain.

[ In Reply To ..]
I guess we can't criticize him because he has cancer, so he's bullet proof.

He's rallying the Democrats now to write the bill.

Imagine if these Republicans had fought Obama - as hard as they are fighting Trump?

[ In Reply To ..]
!!!
They are not - fighting Trump -
[ In Reply To ..]
they are doing what they feel is best for their states and the country. Doing only what the president wants is not how our country is supposed to work! Trump is wrong on this - his promises of giving this country better and cheaper medical coverage was a lie to get elected and they all know it because some of them used it too. This is something that will effect all Americans, not just Republicans so they have to do it right because whatever it is they will own it! They can't just pass a horrific bill with empty promises from the House that they will renegotiate it and not pass it. That would be dishonorable. Time for all of them to roll up their sleeves and work together - that is the only way to show the world that America is and always has been great - not some slogan from an empty president!
McCain, as much as he might have intended had the bill - passed and been signed, did not
[ In Reply To ..]
hurt anything by this vote. It would have eliminated a source of funding for the system without eliminating the system and would have provided the excuse for the RINOs to join en masse the Democrats to pass Single Payer as the bastardized Obamacare would fail totally very obviously and rapidly.

They all want socialized medicine except for a very few. I came to that realization a long time ago.

Maybe they should - all rally and

[ In Reply To ..]
work together on it for a change. This my side against your side is getting really old and stale - and nothing is getting done!
How so? Does rally mean cave in to Democrats? - I think it's time to defund both tthe

That's what bipartisanship is to Democrats. The Republicans - caving. Let's not lump
[ In Reply To ..]
the few conservatives in with the Republicans. They are not the same thing. Using “Conservatives” and “Republicans” interchangeably is wrong. Most Republicans are not conservative.

You can see from other posts that the left loves Republicans because they vote with the Democrats.

It is estimated that health care will actually end up being 20% of the GDP next year. So here's the unasked question what will the economy look like?
Maybe the Democrats should start working with - Trump to get things done.
[ In Reply To ..]
People like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have talking points about "bipartisanship" but the never exhibit it.

funding prop out from under Obamacare while leaving the worst of the system intact would have renamed it all “TrumpCare” which would then have crashed very quickly and left us with “no option” but single payer which would have been passed overwhelmingly on the story line that the Free Market which the Republicans gave us has FAILED!

The republican plan included that too, in case - you didn't remember

Now maybe you will believe us when we tell you - the RINOs do not want to repeal

[ In Reply To ..]
Obamacare. They lied when they ran on it. They didn't expect Trump to win.

They want to see Trump fail. They are part of the D.C. - swamp. I've also mentioned

[ In Reply To ..]
that several times here.

Yes, the progressive republicans do not want Trump to - have any sort of victory.

[ In Reply To ..]
Everybody knows McCain loathes Trump.

I remember how McCain treated Bush 43 fter he lost to - him in the primaries. Petty.

[ In Reply To ..]
McCain also sent one of his staff members to London to pick up the Steele dossier on Trump and once received, delivered it to Comey. McCain holds grudges.

So does Trump! - And I am

[ In Reply To ..]
sure that he will throw a tantrum and go after those 3 - like threatening the senators from Alaska - what a jerk. The Congress and Senate need to just forget his bullying and get to work on fixing the problems our country has!

Why Obamacare Will Self Repeal. Two Words Summarize Why.Jan 11, 2017
The debate is over. We do not need to repeal Obamacare; it will repeal itself. Two words summarize why: risk pool. The ACA is founded upon a stunning misconception of the very definition of insurance. Its advocates have mistakenly conflated two unrelated concepts: insurance and welfare – or, more to the point, risk and charity. People buy insurance in order to mitigate risk. We buy fire insurance because there is a slight chance that our house will burn down. If we cannot afford ins ...

A Full Repeal Of Obamacare Must Get Through The Senate,Mar 09, 2017
Peter Nelson, my colleague at Center of the American Experiment, is one of the country’s leading experts on health care policy. On the Center’s web site, he urges conservatives to take a deep breath and understand the constraints that Congressional Republicans are working under. In particular, a full repeal of Obamacare must get through the Senate, which means it must get 60 votes. There are only 52 Republican senators. Therefore, the first bill that has been unveiled is intended to be pa ...

Obamacare Is Failing From Behind... His Goals For ObamacareJul 20, 2016
1) Have it collapse so that single payer can be implemented amidst the ensuing chaos. 2) Have that happen on somebody else’s watch. Obamacare was designed to fail so the Democrats could “reform” it with complete government provided socialized medicine. That is the entire purpose for it. Obamacare is designed to collapse so they can backfill the vacuum with government run socialized medicine. Eventually, everyone will be on some form of Medicare. I believe that was one of Bernie’ ...
