One or two posters asked me to set the record straight. Here ya go:

My answers were buried so I'll direct you to those posts instead of rewriting everything in them. They would be too long otherwise.

One is on the Constitution and one is on Jonathan Turley.

He has already done way more than necessary for impeachment, but we can't impeach him, because the Democrats in Congress don't care about the law either and would never vote for it.

Don't even know why there are laws anymore.

In addition to the wrong information in your original post - sm

This post also contains wrong information. Not sure why you defined "closely held corporations" as "FAMILY-OWNED corporations," as I did not ask for a definition of it. Closely held corporations are defined by the IRS as having more than half the value of its stock owned by five or fewer individuals. That's individuals, not just family members. These companies tend to be small, and many are far too tiny to offer any type of insurance. But on the flip side of that, some are huge and include some of the best-known names in American business, such as Mars Inc., with more than 70,000 workers, and Cargill Inc., with more than 140,000 workers. Hobby Lobby would in no way be considered small either, although it is family-owned.

I also didn't ask any questions about Jonathan Turley, so I'm not sure what your point is by posting all those links. I'm well aware of who he is and what his positions are. He thinks the Hobby Lobby decision is sweeping legislation with far-reaching implications besides the birth control issue.

The big picture is that some corporations have now been given rights as "religious institutions" with sweeping power to make decisions for their employees based on their owner(s) religious beliefs. What part of that is so hard to understand?

Setting The Record StraightOct 22, 2012
Published on Oct 20, 2012 by BlackAndRight Despite the fact the Department of Health and Human Services says there are NO Planned Parenthood clinics in the United States licensed to offer mammograms, President Obama and his surrogates continue to claim a defunding of Planned Parenthood will deny women of services they don't offer. ...

Let Me Get This Straight...Jan 24, 2017
A poster below had an entire page rant about sales tax on tampons, complaining that men don't have to pay tax on Viagra. This is "inequality." Besides the fact that Viagra is an Rx medication and tampons are sold sans Rx, OTC in drug stores, grocery stores, etc., it occurred to me: If the biggest "beef" that women in America have is paying the sales tax on a $2.79 box of tampons, then obviously they have it VERY GOOD in this country!   ...

Let's All Get This Straight Once And For All With Regard ToJan 12, 2015
I've lurked for awhile and read so much erroneous thinking about economics, economic policies, etc. that it's clear that some education is in order.  I'll start with the nonsense about Bush and the crash of 2008. Like the crash of 1929, the crash of 2008 was brewing for years before it occurred - in fact, back to the Clinton era when people like Barney Frank and Charles Schumer set out to make mortgages available to people who couldn't afford them.  These people us ...

Straight Talk Smartphones Sep 26, 2016
I need a phone just to connect to the internet on my home wifi. Straight Talk has phones you can get for free that are activated when you purchase a 30-day service plan. I really don't need to be able to talk, text, or use their data. Is anyone familiar with these phones? What happens when you do not purchase another 30-day plan? Would the phone still be able to be connected to my wifi or would it somehow be deactivated? I understand I would not be able to make phone calls, text, ...

Becoming A MT With A Criminal Record... Possible???Aug 13, 2012
Hi I am thinking about becoming a MT but unfortunatly I do have a criminal record. I had gotten into some trouble back in 2008 so now I have a misdemenor assault. It has been hard finding a job, mostly working directly with people but if I do become a MT I would want to work from home to be with my son. Also I was thinking of going though Penn Foster. Will I be able to find a job with the assault? What do you think about Penn Foster?? Thanks! ...

Nope, that's racism   During his explanation, Alday said he comes "from a town where all the blacks are getting food stamps and what I call 'welfare crazy checks.' They don't work." Looking At Straight Talk Cell Phones And Can't Decide Which One Would Be Best.Nov 13, 2014
My first instinct is to go for the cheapest and on the straight talk website they have a free Samsung T528G when you purchase a plan.  I have a cheapy prepaid phone now that I hate!  It is supposedly touchscreen, but I cannot get it calibrated right and half the time I have no service which I don't know is the phone or the cell service. I also see Samsung Centura or Discover for $50 to $70.  So what would you guys suggest I get? ...

How To Find Death RecordSep 23, 2010
Okay, here is my problem.  I have been trying to find a copy of a death record/death certificate/obituary online.  We have a friend that we have known for over 20 years who we lost contact with about 8 years ago or so.  He actually lived with us for over 6 months at one point.  He eventually moved back to the area where his family is from and we lost touch.  He was one of those friends that you can not see for a long time and then when you do see them again, you pick up ...

Record Campaign SpendingOct 26, 2012
I might be the only one, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The amount of money spent campaigning in this country is ridiculous.  And for what?  Do those ads even do anything?  Do they change peoples' minds?  I don't think they do.  All they ever seem to me is a childish tit-for-tat that makes us all look stupid. Food Stamp Use At Record HighsNov 30, 2009
MARTINSVILLE, Ohio — With food stamp use at record highs and climbing every month, a program once scorned as a failed welfare scheme now helps feed one in eight Americans and one in four children.
