After watching that interview, I can only say Bill O'Reilly and FOX must be feeling pretty darn good right about now. To think that they hold such sway over America and her people. That's quite the accomplishment!
At the same time, it's an elitist insult to Americans. To think that we can't make up our own minds and need FOX news to do it for us. That disgusts me.
Also, after everything that has been presented to him for many, many months, the president still cannot admit when he has been wrong, when his administration has been wrong or when there has been any type of mistake made. I find this both sad and embarrassing.
I guess I was hoping for some honesty and fessing up of sorts.

And there was no coverup.
Were you as outraged about Bush's lying administration?

Again, in 2016 voters are going to be concerned about where the country is, their personal lives and futures, and where the country is going, not any previous event that occurred in any previous presidents' administration.
(The italic font is from the report itself.)
Based on the Committee's review, the State Department's INR disseminated no intelligence products related to the Benghazi attacks in the year following the attacks. Considering the attacks began on a State Department facility, involved the deaths of two State Department personnel, and were an important indication of escalating threats against U.S. facilities and personnel in the region, the Committee finds it unsettling that INR chose not to, or was unable to, disseminate any analysis related to the attacks or the implications of the attacks.
The conclusions: “ ….the process to create the talking points was not without problems, so we join our Republican colleagues in recommending-as we do in the report-that in responding to future requests for unclassified talking points from Congress, the IC should simply tell Congress which facts are unclassified and let Members of Congress provide additional context for the public. However, we sincerely hope that the public release of the emails on May 15, 2013, that describe the creation of the talking points, and the evidence ·presented in this report, will end the misinformed and unhelpful talking points controversy once and for all.”
So, the Democrats on the Committee have decided the CIA is at fault for the misinformation in Benghazi? In that case, the failure of our Central Intelligence Agency to conduct Intelligence is extremely flawed Do they need to invent another agency to decipher intelligence information coming from the CIA? This group is supposed to be the backbone of security of our citizens. This department also USED to be the most, or one of the topmost, reliable agencies on this planet. What happened?
This conclusion from the other side: "The failures of Benghazi can be summed up this way: the Americans serving in Libya were vulnerable; the State Department knew they were vulnerable; and no one in the Administration really did anything about it. The Intelligence Community does not collect intelligence about threats to our security in dangerous place so it can be ignored by senior decision-makers. Nor should a Regional Security Officer's repeated warnings go unheeded."
Do we now wait, like we used to, for the REAL reporting/truth on issues like this after the investigations are over? I think so. When an incident like this happens, don’t just jump on the talking points, go out there and report totally wrong information. Don’t point fingers and give unreliable information just because you want to blame someone. The Warren Report took ages to finish the investigation. Watergate investigations also took time. Why is that? Could it be because they wanted the truth? Controversy is still going on and there will always be controversy over incidents like this but you also cannot plead the 5th OR refuse to testify in committee hearings as it essentially causes MORE harm, finger pointing, and rumors. The job of an investigation is to find the truth. As we have seen during the Fast and Furious, IRS and Benghazi investigations, there has been more blocking and ignoring subpoenas (which is absolutely in contempt of court in a public court) than ever seen before. It has now become common for one side to fight the other using these tactics instead of focusing on the truth. It has also become a common occurrence for those blocking the information to be promoted or given a new post with a higher salary than to be fired or demoted.
The separate additional view of the investigation by Susan Collins sums it up this way: “While I support the SSCI report and appreciate its thorough analysis of much of what went wrong, I believe that more emphasis should have been placed on the three issues I discussed: (1) the Administration’s initial misleading of the American people about the terrorist nature of the attack; (2) the failure of the Administration to hold anyone at the State Department, particularly Under Secretary Kennedy, fully accountable for the security lapses; and, (3) the unfulfilled promises of President Obama that he would bring the terrorists to justice.”
I agree with Senator Collins. She devoted a couple paragraphs as to why Kennedy should be be held accountable. If the CIA/FBI hands weren't tied by PC, the State Department and the DoD, I believe those responsible for the attack would already be arrested and charged.
