The talk is about the Tea Party, whether it is all crazy people or if it just has the normal amount of wackos in it, or if they are all national heroes who have the answers to all of our problems.

Who cares?!

This is not all about the Tea Party! We are taking the focus off our problems and on a group of people, good, bad, and indifferent, instead of working on the problems.

Can't we all just be Americans and work to solve the problems our great nation has?

We all have a limited amount of time, energy, and money, and we're spending too much of it on the "T-Party" instead of solving our problems. Right now it's all about whether the "T-Party" like this or that or don't like this or that. I didn't realize it until now, but that takes away energy that we could be using to solve our problems rather than fight about how good or bad a group of people may or may not be. They aren't as important as they would like us to think, but they are taking resources away from solving real problems.

have the same rights as any American, you as a Proud American should fight for their right to be a part of the discourse just like any other American.

And continuing to minimalize them is not good either. They were very important to what happened in the mid-terms. You talk about them as if they are not Americans and have no right to be involved in the process.

I see them usually more negative than making a positive contribution, usually at least. I'm sure there are exceptions. I'm only talking about what I have seen and I certainly have not been to every Tea Party rally in the country.

think you are an American against other Americans. No one is going to agree with anyone 100% of the time. I do not agree with how the Democrats are running the country; they act like the deficit is not that big a deal (even after Standard & Poor's revised its outlook on the long-term sovereign debt of the United States to "negative.")

I really wish they would take it seriously, but they seem unwilling to. I can't support them because of that. That does not mean I think they are against America. I just do not agree with their idea of how to fix it...well, let me rephrase that. They have not actually addressed what their plan is to fix it. All I have seen so far is reducing the budget, NOT current spending.

I think it's that main thing about how they are the topic rather than the issues that need to be addressed. It may be the methods and techniques or the way they present themselves rather than the actual people. I will try to revisit how I look at them and make sure that I'm not being too harsh.
