Never heard of Sarah Bernhardt

No wonder I've never heard of her. We are from totally different walks of life and temperament. What she calls humor is really insulting and vulgar for the purpose attention-grabbing shock, especially against anyone conservative. Some people like that kind of thing, I guess. Not I. ;

Fitting lib/dem would use that for their moniker - Vile and insulting their TM

(I'm not the OP on this thread, BTW.) Sorry, I honestly don't get this post which is addressed to me, apparently. Are you saying I'm funnier just because I didn't have to google the name to know that there are two famous females with the last name of "Bernhardt" and the first initial "S," and then realized that somehow "Sarah" didn't sound right as the comedienne's name?

Are you saying I'm funnier because I asked how the OP knew "Bernhardt" was a comedienne if he/she actually searched for "Sarah Bernhardt," like he/she said? Try it--google "Sarah Bernhardt." Nothing comes up about Sandra Bernhardt.

Or am I misunderstanding that you're making fun of me for some reason? It's so hard to understand people's meaning sometimes when you can't hear a tone of voice. :-D

If more people in this country could just admit it when they make a mistake, it might be a more refreshing place...especially when it comes to politics! :-)

Not the OP. I read the entire thread and it did not come off to me as an attack on you at all. It sounded more like a comment regarding the poster on here that uses that name for a moniker, thinks she is comical, but is not. Looks like person responding to you was addressing the poster using that moniker. Since the commediene in question is a very base, vulgar type, I read it as poster responding did not find the moniker bearer funny at all, and that even though your post was more serious than the moniker bearer, you were still funnier (and not at all vulgar) than the moniker bearer. Did not mean for this to be long, but I saw no question of your integrity, etc. Just a comment direct toward the person on this board (who by the way has written very disgusting comments under that moniker thinking she is hilarious). Calm down....no one is making fun of you. Would bet my wad the fun was being poked at the moniker bearer.

The name Sarah Bernhardt has shown up on some political posts, and having never heard of her, I was curious so di a search. I used Bing to find "Sarah Bernhardt comedian" and up came Sandra Bernhardt. My eye skipped the Sandra, believing it was Sarah. Anyway, so much confusion I've caused! I honestly did not know who this person was. No offense intended. My mistake.

I'm not sure how appropriate it is for a post started for no other reason but to call out another poster is appropriate for the Politics Board (or appropriate at all). Maybe try the Gab Board next time, Comedy Stop perhaps.

Again, I was not attacking conservatives (and if you looked up Sarah Bernhardt (link below), you'd realize that and just how ridiculous this whole thread is). However, if this board has degraded to the point where it's acceptable to name call, don't cry victim and accuse others of HATE when you don't like when you're "team" is on the receiving end of it. The moderator just got done repeating what is already in the sticky (posting guidelines) about having a thick skin.
