Can we get Sarah a reality check?

(CNN) – Sarah Palin says its time for President Barack Obama to pick up the phone and make some calls – maybe even to her.

In her latest post on Facebook, the former Alaska governor takes aim at the president for not speaking directly with BP CEO Tony Hayward during the ongoing Gulf Coast crisis. Obama told NBC Tuesday that he has not spoken with Hayward because "when you talk to a guy like a BP CEO, he's gonna say all the right things to me - I'm not interested in words, I'm interested in actions."

Palin wrote that Obama's comments amount to "further proof that it bodes well to have some sort of executive experience before occupying the Oval Office," and added that the president should call experts who lived through the 1989 Exxon-Valdez oil spill in Alaska – including herself.

"We've all lived and worked through the Exxon-Valdez spill," she wrote. "They can help you. Give them a call. Or, what the heck, give me a call."

Was she governor during Prudhoe Bay? I don't know. She wasn't governor during the Exxon spill, but she lived in Alaska, and didn't her hubby work for an oil company at one time?

is here. We have a skinny lawyer, turned community organizer, turned president running things. He did not have experience running a business. He did not have a lot of foreign affair experience. Yet he was voted into office. Now you have Sarah Palin who lives in Alaska and deals with oil companies and her husband dealt with oil companies too and you don't want any advice at all from her simply because she is Sarah Palin? You guys are plain stupid sometimes. Anyone who might have any advice on this situation should be asked or listened to. If their advice is stupid....move on to the next person. Considering her astonishing level of ignorance about so many things and her level of "accomplishment" as Governor and as Mayor of Wasilla, I wouldn't call her for advice about a hang nail.

At least Palin had experience in running a state and did a good job while holding that office. Obama isn't doing so hot running the country. You people wouldn't listen to Sarah Palin for anything because of your bias. At least I listen to Obama before I make judgments on what he says.

she is who she is, and while I have tried from time to time to give her the benefit of the doubt, every time, and I mean, EVERY TIME, she says something that just convinces me I was right about her all along. I would same the same if she were a dem. I don't think Obama is perfect, but he is working for the people, and Palin works only for herself. Obama has some sense of living in reality, Palin is God-only-knows-where, certainly not on this planet. He took on a job knowing that he would be trying to fix an unbelievable mess, and took it on anyway, also knowing that there were some that wanted him to fail, and others who would not give him a chance. Palin left her job about 2 years and now seems more concerned with padding her pocketbook than anything else. I think all politicians are to some degree padding their pocketbooks by consorting with people that they shouldn't, but Palin not only does that, now we are talking a "reality show" (like she knows anything about reality), writing books that she really isn't writing, etc. Sorry, I think politicians are crooked pretty much as a whole, but SP really has few redeeming qualities.
