Marco Rubio's math didn't add up just as his personal checkbook failed him

Posted: Oct 30, 2015

If his personal failure to handle his own household funds and his math during the debate are any indication, he's not doing very well.

;

Here's a blast from the past. House banking scandal. - Many house members would write checks

[ In Reply To ..]
that would bounce and the house bank would cover them. To point fingers at Rubio is to give the others a pass.

Barbara Boxer was among the top 24 involved in that scandal, - they called it Rubbergate

[ In Reply To ..]
because the checks would bounce.

She had 143 bad checks totaling $41,417 over a three-year period written on the House bank.

Barbara Boxer is not running for President - Do not know or care about her budging skills

[ In Reply To ..]
Whether she is a good manager of money or not, I do not know. I do know for a fact that Rubio is not, and he is the one who is running for President of the United States. That is totally unacceptable. It's something that needs to be brought out into the open so people will know that if you are interested in expertise in budgeting, Rubio's not your man.
Boxer and Frank were both on committees - that appropriated money, it's very
[ In Reply To ..]
relevant. But that's a typical Democrat response. Who cares since it's a Democrat, only care if it's a Republican.

By today's standards, nobody would care about if it involves - Democrats.

So true!!! It is disgusting what Dems get away with - and are such hypocrities!!! nm

Article V shows us how to exercise our constitutional - authority to remedy these abuses,
[ In Reply To ..]
and our Founders and Framers were very great men but they had no great faith in the greatness of man and so they both anticipated our dilemma and gave us a ready-made solution.

That's why are so many conservatives on these threads outraged by the loss of their liberties, but upset too at the suggestion that anyone who suggests the remedy is that the Constitution itself tells us to do is somehow extreme.
I suppose the first observation to make is crony capitalism - is an oxymoron. If it's the
[ In Reply To ..]
product of cronyism it cannot be capitalism.

A second observation would be that although socialism has taught us that it inevitably leads to cronyism.

Our founders truly were insightful.

Even if everybody were doing it which they are not, it does not make it right - Rubio failed the competency test for budgeting

[ In Reply To ..]
Remember what mama said, just because everybody else is doing it doesn't make it right.

Barbara Boxer is not running for President. Marco Rubio is. He fails the test of being competent in budgeting.

Barney Frank's boyfriend ran a male prostitute ring - from their home. Massachusetts

repeatedly elected a murderer, and Gerry Studds (gay) had an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old.

It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly American criminal class except Congress.

Renounce your US citizenship, move to Mexico and come back illegally. Then you'll be untouchable.

And get an invitation to the White House and a job - at the DHS.

Liberalism is not about ideas, it's a movement about - taking wealth by scams. It's

[ In Reply To ..]
very organized and they crush their enemies by paying bribes. It's also done by using emotion to connect with people, but they say one thing yet do another.
It could never be pulled off without the help of the MSM. - The system of checks and balances
[ In Reply To ..]
isn't working because of corruption. We have allowed power to concentrate in fewer and fewer hands.
As Tocqueville observed of American political institutions - and the public, we would thrive up
[ In Reply To ..]
to the point that the electorate discovered they could raid the treasury through the ballot box.

We are not a constitutional republic anymore. We are a citizenry of free stuff.

Barney Frank is not running for President but Marco Rubio is - He is no longer even in Congress

[ In Reply To ..]
Barney Frank is a non-issue. Marco Rubio is running for the leader of the Free World.

Who cares. Washington DC in general can't balance - the national checkbook, so he fits

[ In Reply To ..]
right in.

I care. - Patriotic American

Marco Rubio's Abuse Of Taxpayer Money Gets Worse By The DayNov 04, 2015
I had heard about his misuse of taxpayer money for a long time, but I thought it was minor issues. "After reporting by the Times/Herald, Rubio did pay the Republican Party of Florida $2,400 for plane flights he double-billed to state taxpayers and the party." That is not a minor issue.  Now I don't know who would be my choice of those 14 or 18 or however many they are now.  I just don't like anything Carson stands for and his personality grates on me, so I'll leave him ...

Poor Rubio. He Got Bad Advice.Feb 27, 2016
This absolutely wasn't Rubio's year to run for President, and any advisor could have told him as much.  In the first place, he simply doesn't have the time-in-grade.  He needed to spend a lot more time (perhaps even 12 years) in the Senate to develop the "gravitas" necessary to be a viable candidate.    Second, although I hate the fact that a candidate's physical appearance should have anything to do with voter decisions, appearance DOES matter - and you ...

Good Old MathOct 16, 2013
Hey guys and gals.  I hate to over-simplify something so complicated but I am sure we have all learned, you have to have more coming in than going out.  If you borrow, you have more to pay, but you still have to have more coming in to cover that.  You have to reserve some in case of an emergency.  I think it is a matter of losing touch with reality and the basics that has landed us in hot water. ...

I would put Carly in the VP slot simply because she's never held an elective office, and I think she would benefit from spending 4 or hopefully 8 years in the right seat (co-pilot).   Such a ticket would take the wind out of most of the liberals' divisive strategies. Sen. Paul Uses 3rd Grade Math To Explain How Tax CutsJun 24, 2017

That is a fiscal reality." He demanded ...
