Not ONCE since I've come on this board have I hijacked anyone's thread, called anyone names, called any POLITICIAN an unkind name or treated anyone with less than courtesy and respect.

I create posts that I think are interesting or will encourage an adult, respectful exchange of information. And there was certainly nothing in this one to warrant the responses that ensued. I don't engage in the flaming tactics and I would appreciate it if my posts weren't used for that purpose. If you want to do that, create your own thread for that purpose.

I truly have no bone to pick with Clint Eastwood; but I'm with the many, many people I've heard commenting on TV, a few people I heard talking in person today, and read on the internet who didn't see his speech last night as a positive. The "Eastwooding" thing, which I saw reported on a news show earlier today, also appears to be more of a "making-fun" type of thing than a "Go, Clint Eastwood" type of thing.

So, again--I guess it depends on what effect the campaign was looking for (LOL). I assume you're amused by the Eastwooding thing, which I am, too; but, in the end, it would appear to be negatively effective as pertains to the convention. :-o I must say--his guest appearance last night certainly has people talking! :-)

My condolences for your family's loss, and MY apologies for the disgusting comments made by a poster who must have no internal gauge. After the voting post went bust, I decided to take the best suggestions from those that contributed and that's what we're going with. I have just deleted an entire thread of a message talking about hate and racism directed towards one party. I do not want to believe a poster posted just to get an argument going with name calling of the other side, but that is what the entire thread turned into. I'm thinking of deleting my account. This isn't due to any kind of drama or anything like that. I only use my facebook to communicate with family and a few friends in other states and to share pictures and updates about our kids and family. I had to have an open abdominal procedure last year and then chemo. I am now okay, except for my beach ball middle because I have no muscle tone whatsoever. Thanks to all your messages below. Here's an update. We have a small bowl of food out for her. I just could not stand to wonder if she is starving. So now we know she isn't. She is still skiddish, but it warming up to us. She doesn't run unless we make a movement toward her. If we stand still and talk to her she will sit and watch us and not run.
