I am already sick of the slick ads from both sides, the pundits analyses and predictions (I so lost it with Chris Matthews this morning!), the pollsters, etc., all directed by the media and in turn by people with big money interests in one side or the other. My mute button will be getting a lot of use this year.

It's been a while since I even watched the news - just can't take it and there's still six months until the election!!! Been watching a lot of the history channel and the green network - both have very interesting and calming programs on - and no political commercials :)

I love the History channel!

Since I really can't get into all the Housewives of anything or 99% of other reality shows, I usually end up watching reruns of the Golden Girls or Miami Vice. And there's usually a Law & Order marathon on at any given time. :-)

But we all have choices like Goldie said. No one is forcing us to watch the news or read the newspapers about campaign. Sometimes it is hard to bypass this, but it can be done. Thank goodness that they invented the MUTE button and volume control too. I like Golden Girls and Law and Order is one of my favorite shows. Who says we cannot enjoy life during an election year, LOL.

don't care who wins. The country is in a downward slide anyway, and whoever sits in the white house isn't going to make any difference. Big business has control of America now, and for that, we're all screwed.

Well, nothing is working on my feet, ankles and legs. They are kind of down in the morning and whether or not I put my compression hose on or not, they balloon up in about 2-3 minutes.
