Acrylic throw blankets

I am looking at ordering an acrylic 50 x 72" throw for the sofa and it is acrylic. I am not sure what that is like and if it is warm. Anyone have a throw made from this. I dont and I dont want to order it by internet if it is not warm.

[ In Reply To ..]they are great but can be almost too hot sometimes if we are having a fire in the fireplace as well. They are extremely soft and comfortable. They say 100% polyester/acrylic on them. We got them at Kohl's. It's hard to buy online, though. I like feeling them first.
