"social welfare group," meaning it's exempt from campaign contribution disclosure rules. The subterranean group alleges its political activities are secondary to furthering "the common good." There is no indication this a group of Navy Seals (plural). It's president, Scott Taylor, is a FORMER Seal who was not involved in the successful OBL mission.

Scott Terry is also a GOP politician who made a failed bid for a Virginia congressional seat in 2010, and another failed bid for mayor of Virginia Beach before that. This means there is quite a bit of info available on his political views, which he claims are "secondary" to the group's mission. What are they?

2. Suspend capital gains tax.
3. TAX BREAKS FOR BUSINESSES WHO OPERATE OVERSEAS.
4. Relaxed energy regulation, but no tax breaks for green jobs/technologies.

8. Against same-sex marriage.

Sounds like a disaffected swift-boater with an ax to grind, trying to build a TP/cons-friendly resume before his next run for office again. As for that claim that the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund is an apolitical "social welfare organization," well...you be the judge.

I rarely believe any of these so-called "rankings", and there's lots of reason to be highly skeptical of polls as well.

(Did you ever wonder why people seem to need polls in the first place? It's because too many people want to know what everyone else thinks so they can decide what they think, too. If polls were outlawed, maybe we'd learn to think for ourselves.)

Obama's foreign policies have sharply degraded the standing of America in the world, and he gets a failing grade for one thing alone - if not all of the other botches - and that is his posture toward Israel. This has demonstrably made that region of the world much more dangerous than it would be if our enemies (Iran, specifically) did not have good reason to believe that Obama will not stand behind Israel.

I can guarantee you that Iran's leadership is hoping that Obama - the most limp-noodle President since Carter - will be reelected.

Well, nothing is working on my feet, ankles and legs. They are kind of down in the morning and whether or not I put my compression hose on or not, they balloon up in about 2-3 minutes.
