signed an arms deal with Saudi Arabia. I mean we know that he has businesses over there, they weren't included in the immigration ban yet they are the country that provided most of the terrorists from 9/11. He criticized them during his campaign. I just don't get it.

I accept at face value we need help to eliminate ISIS and Saudi Arabia will have a vested interest in helping the US get rid of ISIS.

There is a lot more going on than I can explain that I heard when listening to pros and cons of Trump's deal with Saudi Arabia and the cons came from liberal commentators so I took it with a grain of salt.

I agree we need help fighting ISIS but I just don't get the reasoning behind an arms deal with the Saudi's. I guess I will have to do more research for both pros and cons whichever side they come from. I don't just "accept at face value" about something like this.

But I think it is a great idea to make friends with everyone possible and also have mutual economic interest in a country's success.

If Saudi Arabia is an ally in keeping ISIS at bay or non-existent, they will have more of an interest in helping because they have an economic deal with US that helps both us and their country.

Cons were it was kinda like Obama's speech, Trump stayed on speech writer's message, etc. Typical liberal whining and insinuating Trump was "copying" Obama and also he was scripted.

In any case, it seemed the Saudis and President have a mutual respect and hopefully this will benefit both countries.

But I did not have the opportunity to say give it back if I do not like what they are doing with the money I gave them in taxes. At the point a person pays taxes it becomes government money.

Dow and Wall Street. That's bad enough but the whole weapons deal scares me. Seriously, if this was Obama most of you would be blasting this deal.

Trump didn't respect them before and the only reason he is "respecting" them now is they put some bling over his neck. "Hopefully this will benefit us" is not really comforting.
