Helping your kids understand fascism.

Posted: Dec 30, 2016

fascism is. Literally, it is a system where government runs businesses without owning them by threat of governmental force. Google and college professors like to liken it to right wing, but in this sense right wing refers to the traditional European political spectrum, not conservatism. I first explained that fascism (national socialism) is just another form of socialism. Internationalist socialists bitterly reject this idea, but it is the truth. Internationalist socialism and communism are distinguishable because they want to force all people to be “equal” in all ways; with things like individuality, gender, intelligence, experience, talent, personality, ethics and morality reduced “to the lowest common denominator.” They crave “generic” people living in primitive poverty, because wealth discriminates, and they want people to have nothing unique about them, and all living solely to serve government. Since trying to force people into this mold is very frustrating, and doesn’t work, internationalist socialists decide to destroy, even kill, those who do not conform to what they crave to be the “ideal”. They hate religion, unique cultures, history, ethnicity, nationalism, marriage and the nuclear family, excellence in anything, and utter abject failure, which they still prefer to excellence. They are very gifted at subverting organizations to work for their cause, and they quickly revert to violence and hatred against those who disagree with them. Fascism (national socialism) disagrees with internationalist socialism in several important ways. To begin with, they "honor" individuality and uniqueness and families, they see nations and peoples as having an inherent purpose and reason to exist apart from other nations, and while they do not embrace cultural and historical truths, they tend to idealize them to the point of fantasy to encourage national pride, even arrogance and do admire nations that have maintained their uniqueness. Comparing the two major varieties of socialism, several conclusions can be reached. First and foremost, they both suffer from fantastic idealism, for which they are willing to destroy and kill to achieve. Neither group respects republican-democracy, equality before the law, opinions that disagree with them, and they both crave radical solutions to problems simple and complex. They are both convinced of the inevitability of their philosophy, and demand that all institutions be geared to advance it, not permitting dissent or argument against them. They also watched each other to pick up ideas they could use to further their goals. Nationalization and collectivization by the internationalist socialists proved to be utter failures early on, though they insisted on forcing them to try and work, which they never did, even 70 years later. They still insist they are the only way to do things. The fascists (national socialists) picked up on this idea of failure, so modified their economic policies against nationalization and collectivization to instead just have government direct the outcomes they wanted from business, and let the businessmen figure out how to accomplish it, sometimes called the “public-private partnership”. Which worked somewhat better, but still is far less efficient than market forces alone. The bottom line to all this is that both philosophies, while similar, are both failures, despite endless efforts to make them work. They both cause destruction and violence, and hurt and kill people. And while their supporters will endlessly lie about them to make them sound good, they are both abhorrent and should be discarded to make the world a better place. ;

Contrary to popular belief, the nazis were ardent socialists, - hence the term national socialism.

This sounds weird but they led the world in organic farming and alternative medicine. Hitler was a strict vegetarian and Himmler was an animal rights activist.

This post appears to be generously cribbed from a forum for the website Free Republic.

Please consider whether a site that does these things (below, via Wikipedia) is one that helps further the political discussion on this board.

From Wikipedia regarding Free Republic:
2009: Obama administration

James von Brunn, the white supremacist who killed a security guard at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. on June 10, 2009, posted an article on another site questioning the citizenship of President Barack Obama (a view held by so-called "birthers"); the article was then pasted into a thread on Free Republic. The thread was deleted by moderators after the shooting, but later restored when a review found that it had not violated posting guidelines against racism and anti-Semitism.[52]

In July 2009, after Obama's eleven-year-old daughter Malia was photographed wearing a T-shirt with the peace symbol, a Free Republic thread featured racially charged comments about Obama's wife and children, using such terms as "ghetto street trash". After the thread was criticized, it was suppressed and placed under review. It was then restored to the site intact. Only after further criticism did site administrators remove it a second time.[53] In an email response to the incident, Jim Robinson called Obama an "American-hating Marxist pig."[53]

In April 2012, after Rick Santorum's suspension of his presidential campaign left Mitt Romney the presumptive Republican nominee, Robinson posted: "FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney," and indeed, initially, Robinson, the Free Republic site, and many 'Freepers' did not embrace the candidacy of presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney. Robinson posted to the site, "I'd rather shut the place down than be involved in any effort to install abortionist/gay rights pushing RINOS like Romney or Giuliani into the White House!! Do NOT push this crap on FR. Take your business elsewhere!!"[54][dead link]

The site conducted another membership purge in 2016, expelling all members of the Stop Trump movement opposed to the 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump.[55]

controversial or biased (which I've seen), I'll check out the citations and the sources of those citations, which is a way to significantly reduce your research time.

It’s a fantastic source for those kinds of topics. It falls short when dealing with politics. With that said, it is a tool, and has to be used properly and in full context.

The only areas where Wikipedia really shows a bias are in politics or sociology. You recognize the bias in those areas.

Who the heck writes Wikipedia anyway? - They are biased against

[ In Reply To ..]
certain natural dietary products and sites against GMOs.

For instance, in the Wikipedia entry for homeopathy, rogue editors have ensured that the following false statements remain as "fact" on the site:

"Homeopathy is considered a pseudoscience. Homeopathy is not effective for any condition, and no remedy has been proven to be more effective than placebo."

that statement is not false. It is, in fact, completely correct. - hawkmt

Wikipedia was launched by porn site money. - The "online encyclopedia"

[ In Reply To ..]
known as Wikipedia has a problem with accuracy, bias and misinformation, which is bad enough — but one of its co-founders, Jimmy Wales, may also have ties to the porn industry.

In addition to “problems” with accuracy and an inherent bias toward mainstream, “conventional” concepts of medicine, there are huge questions regarding Wikipedia‘s earliest forms of funding.

WND editor Joseph Farah explained to Wales that Bomis (which rhymes with “promise”), a now-defunct company founded by Wales and his partner in 1996, states that “Bomis ran a website called Bomis Premium at premium.bomis.com until 2005, offering customers access to premium, X-rated pornographic content.”

In addition, the same page notes that Wales himself at one point attempted to hide Wikipedia‘s founding ties to Bomis:

Wales edited Wikipedia in 2005 to remove the characterizations of Bomis as providing soft-core pornography,[18][39] which attracted media attention.…

Finally, Fox News reported in 2010 that Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger, who left in 2002, told the FBI that Wikimedia Commons, the parent company, was “rife with renderings of children performing sexual acts.”

Sounds sort of like Snopes. - NM

Many of them are Christian based. Contrary to what many believe, the kids are not isolated. We go out in social groups and do many things, including visiting zoos, museums, things like that.

Looks like the way books are being changed, history as well if it is taught at all and the way that public school is, all parents are going to have to send to Christian schools or home school.

I sure recommend that all children read older books on history rather than these politically correct, changed history books.

Make sure children get to know the truth instead of something made up by the left. They are into everything. Soros is trying to destroy our country, but Trump won't be one of his cronies.

I wish we could get something on this president and send him to jail along with Hillary or anyone else involved in the last 8 years of torture.

These snowflakes were only about 10 years old when Obama was elected.

I spent 8 long, painful years under Obama and so I don't sympathize with them. If they had gotten Hillary, we would have had a government that would have made us all slaves. The left wants government control and they have brain washed there army into believing all their lies. I feel sorry for them when they finally wake up, if they ever do.

Obama has nothing to do with it. It my financial managers who do a good job and also the companies that are making a profit, which has been very hard to do in this anti-business climate.

Let's not forget the abundance of fiat money that has been poured into Wall Street.

Socialist - communist - fascist. A socialist is aking to a - fascist for their government seeks to

[ In Reply To ..]
dictate control. They do not pretend to own private property.

Communists seize all private property and place it in the hands of the state. There is no freedom whatsoever.

Fascists view the world as a military state and see democracy as totally obsolete. In this context, they see the goal as the total mobilization of society, and as such, the state becomes a dictator.

This is closer to socialists who view private property as subject to the permission of the state and as a national resource to redistribute to those who do not earn what they receive.

Under socialism, the state assumes the capability to manage the economy, but if they do not understand how it functions, they are incapable of managing the outcome.

So socialists and fascists have a lot in common whereas communism just robs everyone and deprives the individual of the freedom to even choose their own career path.

This might help simplify it. Fascism is named after a bundle of rods, - symbolic or military groups bound

[ In Reply To ..]
together. It is statism not only as regarding means of production, but militarized civilians under state control. Just leave out the right wing, that is what is confusing. That was thrown in later for political propaganda.

Communism is less overtly militaristic and seeks to replace nationalism with “party” (making it more international). They just kill or put their opponents in the gulag.

Socialism is a softer version, in that the populace is convinced to vote itself into state control.
